>Take a quick look around the cliff face for any tunnels, alcoves, or ledges we could slip into/onto.

> A series of ledges are situated on both sides of the waterfall along almost its entire height. There could be alcoves behind the waterfall itself, too.

That's about a 6-7 second drop.

>Have two rocks at the ready. Make an easy lob with one rock at the hostile, then once she finishes dodging send the other speeding directly at her. Make a break for those ledges.

>Let's try to get to those ledges, using the dust cover for as long as we can.

> The first rock shatters when the attacker spots it and smashes it with a roundhouse kick. The second clips her on the side of the head - she just barely made the dodge. Her green eyes flare.
> You scuttle along the wall towards the ledges as she levels her gaze at you. You should be able to...
> What were you doing again?
> There's no possible way that you can crawl along the wall like this. Gravity catches up with you and you slip, slide, and start to plummet downwards uncontrollably. As you fall, you notice some useless-looking strands of silk wrapped around your hands. How did they get there?
> You hear a voice at your left ear amidst the rushing air - "The spider speaks too much."
> Your attacker swings a kick upwards, aiming at your back.

>If we can remember how to reactivate the silk, do that too if we can grab on. If not, just cling for dear life.

> You twist and grab her leg with your whole body. The sudden maneuver unbalances your attacker, who flails around wildly, trying to regain her balance as the both of you start to succumb to gravity. Her eyes stop glowing.
> The silk! How did you forget that? You stick to your attacker like glue, foiling her attempts to shake you off in the air.
> You feel a burst of acceleration, and the wall rushes up to meet you as both you and your attacker smash into the rock. That one hurt - jagged rocks plow into your soft, fleshy bits, and your head rings from the impact as well. Your attacker doesn't look much better, though.
> Still not letting go, though. That silk holds real well.

> You scramble up your attacker, using whatever part of her that comes up as a handhold. She appears entirely unaccustomed to grappling, and continues flailing about, smashing the both of you into the cliff wall.

>Alternately, try to twist so that when she does a wall slam, she mostly slams herself.
>"Land!"

> Why not do both? As you skim the wall, you reach out and, with a sudden jerk, come to a halt. Your attacker keeps on going and, with a twist and a turn, you use her momentum to smash her bodily into the wall.
> You then use the rebound to smash her into the wall again, on your other side. You attacker grunts weakly from the impact.
> The brief lull in the action allows her to get a good look at you. Her eyes flare again.

>Give her a kiai to the face.
> Give her a headbutt as well but try not to damage the goggles.
>Face yell while averting eyes. Proceed with forcible jarring of brain cells.

> With singleminded intent, you gather your Qi for a kiai. The concentrated shield that you've been using to deflect bullets serves as an excellent source, providing you with far more Qi than you could have gathered in this short time. As if a current smashing through a dam, washing everything away in its path, your Qi comes out in a roar!
> Your attacker goes limp in your grip. Cracks snake their way up the cave wall behind her, and the dust cloud parts in a neat, clean circle as your kiai rips through it.
> You smash your head into hers to make sure. She ain't moving.
> Learned Move: Qi Release. Complexity: 3. Power is nothing if it is not used against one's foes. The user of this technique explosively releases any accumulated Qi - whether in the body or stored elsewhere - to augment a single attack. The attack becomes unblockable and undodgeable under normal conditions, and gains a great increase to damage.
> You just hear a deep humming sound over the crashing of the waterfall. A portal opens in mid-air, and Shikieki confidently strides through. Her first step meets nothing but thin air and you see brief panic in her eyes as she starts to fall, before catching herself and pulling up into a hover. Her facial expression quickly becomes the usual impassive nothing-unusual-has-happened-here.
> "Ahem. Congratulations with your victory, Participant Akyu of the Hieda clan. Your points have been recorded into the Tournament Record. The Exalted Administration of the Seven Heavens wishes you great success in your battles, and may you further achieve glorious victory," she says, her eyes occasionally flicking back and forth to eye her surroundings."
> She glances at the cave wall, cracked and chipped in the wake of your kiai. "That's, uh, quite a finishing move you've got there. We've lost track of you since the whole Eientei deal. You've really improved!"

> Shikieki blinks a few times. "I...don't know. None of these idiots ever considered surrendering, so there's no precedent. Let's have a look at your Standing number, that might tell us."
> Your Standing's... changed since you last saw it. Severely. It now reads 892.
> Shikieki whistles. "Just who surrendered to you like that? The Value players are going to have a nervous breakdown!"

> Shikieki shrugs, looking a bit lost. "They are both Participants, as far as I know. And, well, I would guess that both of those events counted as fights? I really don't know, the rules for this whole affair are very unclear and poorly thought-out. It's very amateurish, if you ask me. Still, I do my best to make sure it runs smoothly."

I've taken up a position of the Fighting Finesse, so to speak, thinking how to win in a scrap. This latest fight really threw me for a loop. My hat's off to you Fightest.

>The best way to climb with a unconcious person in tow would probably be to grab the wrist, secure with the spider web, and use the three free limbs to  climb and reach a ledge. Our body should be at a diagonal and the load hanging limply. Take a good break once on that ledge. Climbing is tough work.

> She glides into the still-open portal, which closes behind her with the same low hum.

> You finish your climb down the cave wall after a lot of difficult maneuvering, doing your best to keep your unconscious assailant from falling. Hopefully there's going to be an easier way to get back, as, even with the help of the silk, it's a long way up.
> The waterfall crashes down into a small lake to your right, streams trickling from it every which way. A disorganised town stands ahead of you, its buildings festooned with brightly-coloured cloth and lamps. You've heard that Oni take up residence here, so the town is practically perpetually one large fight. However, it's quiet, from where you are. A single-horned figure lies prone just a bit ahead near a stream, the water splashing into her face every so often.
> Your assailant lies equally unmoving where you put her down. A lump is beginning to swell on her head where you headbutted her.

> She's probably going to be out for a while.

> The other figure, a single red horn adorning her forehead, is sprawled near the stream's side. She's dressed in brightly-coloured patchwork clothes, her loose-fitting trousers worn to the point of being translucent and her long-sleeved shirt torn in a few places. She looks pretty relaxed, actually, and you can hear her giggling slightly every time the stream's chilly water splashes in her face.
