>Follow Reimu to the car.

>"Yup!" Marisa says, giving you a little wave and heading off towards her car.
>You follow Reimu towards hers and get inside.
>"So, where am I dropping you two off at?" she asks.

>"About where did you arrive, Ran?"

>"Between two very tall buildings," Ran says. "I don't know the precise address by the conventions used here, but I can direct us towards it if you head back to where you found me."
>"It'll do, I guess," Reimu says, pulling the car out of the lot.

>Examine the inside of the car more carefully! What sort of junk does Reimu have in here, anyway?

>You take a closer look around the inside of the car. It's less that there's a great quantity of things, so much as the fact that they're scattered about haphazardly makes it look messy. You see a pair of pens, a couple of old fliers, a blanket, a partially opened box of cookies, a somewhat dog-eared novel, a large translucent blue cup, a roll of grey tape, a bag containing some scented candles in their original packaging, several small pieces of technology you can't identify, and few other random things.

>Reimu begins to retrace your route to where you picked up Ran. Ran points out corrections every now and again, seeming to have remembered the path better than Reimu. Or yourself, for that matter.

>"There do seem to be a number of curious co-incidences," Ran agrees. "But I don't know what connection they could share. Remember that, from a objective view of time, Yukari said this 18 years ago. Maribel would have been only a young child at the time. Still, this event has reached through time more than once already."

>Ran nods. "As I said, time have proven less linear in this situation than I'm accustomed to. Who knows how much further into the past the event may have reached if Yukari had not stopped it where she did?"

>"... how old is Maribel? If she was born that day, there would be more of a connection..."

>"She kinda looked around 20 to me," Reimu says, "but you can't always tell with some people. I suppose Renko might know."

>"Ok, fine," Reimu says.
>"Fortunately no," Ran says. "I'm not even certain I could safely disturb her. I haven't wanted to attempt it."
>The next time the car pauses in traffic, Reimu reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone. She pushes a couple buttons, then holds it to her ear.
>"Hey, Renko," she says, a moment later. "This is Reimu. Strange question, but humor me. How old is Maribel?" There is a pause. "20," she says, calling out to you.

>Reimu relays your question to Renko. "She's on IV nutrition for the moment," Reimu says to you. "Uh, that thing in her arm. So yeah, she still seems to need food. She's doing normal on pretty much every front except not waking up."

>Reimu nods. "Ok, yeah that's it," she says into the phone. "Hang in there, ok? Right. See ya." She puts her phone away. "So, we getting close?"
>"Fairly close, yes," Ran says. "Ah, that way." She points at a street to your left, and Reimu turns down it.
>After a little more driving, Ran indicates two large buildings. "It was between those," she says. Reimu pulls the car up to the side of the street next to them and stops.
>"So... I guess this is it," she says. "If Maribel's falling asleep is connected to all this... what do you think is going to happen if you wake her up?"

>You nod to Reimu and follow Ran down an alley between the two buildings. After a moment she stops. "Here is it."

>Let Foxy do that thing.

>Ran glances around to see if anyone else is nearby, and, satisfied that no one can see her, quickly pulls out the portal key and activates it. A thin purple seam appears in the air beside her and widens. You can see Reimu frowning at it.
>"After you," Ran says.
