>"I've got good night vision, too," says Reisen. "There's a reason we didn't have a light like you do. But yeah, it does get better. But if I were closer to her, I might have some problems. When she's really trying, and you're only a few yards away, it's like you're squinting on a clousy night."
>"And this, I think, is where we part," says Eirin, as she stops in front of an nondescript bush. "It was lovely to meet you, Maribel."

>You smooth her hair, and tell her to get some rest. Her lack of reply quickly leads you to conclude she beat you to it.  Is she going to be like this every night?
>Being rather entangled in her arms at the moment, you find yourself without many options other than to either stair at the wall and the side of Renko's head idly, or try to drift off on your own. However, the latter option seems like it will never arrive, you're just too full of energy right now. Maybe it wouldn't be too late to-
>You feel a tug under you. You open your eyes and find it's a lot brighter. "Dang, almost got it," mutters Renko, as she finishes extracting her arm out from under you. "Sorry, love. Didn't mean you wake you up."

You couldn't gunwink Reisen when you left them? Man, I knew I shouldn't have gone to bed. ;_;

And I don't think Mary had any reason to associate Reisen with guns, Kilga :V
---
Okay, I'm probably overcomplicating things, but I have approached a possible dilemma regarding the ring situation.

1. Both Mary and Renko need one.
2. It would be best if those two matched, both visually and in use - the Ring of Rhythm is cute, but probably not nearly as useful as whatever Marisa makes (in general), and very unlikely to look similar.
3. There'd be a touch of romanticism to it if both of the set went unworn until presenting Renko hers as well.

Optimum solution I can see with that set of ideas in mind - get whatever Marisa makes today, but try to avoid using/wearing it unless an emergency comes up. If Marisa seemed to enjoy making it, try asking in a day or two if she'd be willing to make a matching one for Renko.

Problem being, of course, whether Marisa would still be friendly after the SDM invasion (ambiguous, perhaps somewhat unlikely) and that she might want Mary to try it out as soon as it's done to make sure it works.

... and of course explaining the need to visit Marisa for breakfast without giving away any of this. Though I guess saying that you'd/we'd like what Marisa made to be a surprise might be enough.
There was something here once. Wonder what...

My personal thought is that it is entirely foolish to avoid wearing the magic amplifier until if/when Renko gets one.
It may be acceptable to see if a second one is possible, at some point later in time.

Yeah, that's the silliest part of it, really. But keeping it away until there's an emergency might not be a terrible idea.

Reisen is a snappy dresser and deserves acknowledgment of this. Gunwinking is an excellent way of doing so.
