Touhou Musicians

Yeah just something random. While listening to some themes in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody I imagined various Touhou characters playing instruments. Now time for discussion: what instruments could you most likely see the characters playing?

Because of the Touhou M-1, I can;t imagine Meiling without an accordion. For some reason, I can imagine Sakuya playing the violin. She seems elegant like that. To me, Aya looks like she;ll do well with a trumpet.

Yuyuko plays a mean bass guitar.

Parsee plays the cello, and she shreds it like the lads in Apocalyptica. She's just that awesome at it. Also, she glares at you the entire time.

Youmu, in her off-time as gardener, is a DJ. Complete with BITCHIN' HOT SHADES

Yuuka plays Vamo Alla Flemenco by herself. All of it, at once.

Flandre would drum, I believe. Marisa would play guitar, while Patchoulli I see more playing piano than anything.

Suika would play bass.

Aya on trumpet makes sense, if we go by Wind God Girl, the quintessential ZUNtrumpet song. But for some reason I see her as more a stringed instrument kinda girl. Like maybe a cello.

Cirno, though, is totally trombone.

I can totally picture Remilia in one of the many rooms of the SDM, black and white square floor tiling, large windows covered by big red curtains. In the middle of the room one of these piano's (http://i37.tinypic.com/1z5kaxe.jpg) and she's playing it elegantly with her back towards you...

I could see Wriggle on the violin (mainly because of that lil' leaf dude from LoZ: Wind Waker).

Patchouli on a violin and Mokou on a guitar both seem believable.  I can't imagine Sakuya being musical at all after she asked if trumpets were made of silver in PoFV BV (in the same game she does mention that she owns a violin, though it's only for decoration)

Hmm... ... Kogasa on one of those big, awkward, 'one-man-band' things. Because it'd be surprising. (don't shoot me, please)

In a more serious note, I could see Kogasa playing a shamisen (assuming my memory is working properly and I recall what a shamisen is/spelled it correctly). And I'm not quite sure why, either.

a long time ago, i wanted draw a "visual" group with Rinnosuke in vocals-accustic guitar - cristal armonica - theremin (or another very weird mitical instrument from his personal colection) Youki in bass - shamisen - koto - erhu - shakuhachi and other traditional japanese instruments - narrations; Sariel in electric guitar - arp - back vocals - trumpet (and some solos,he-she is an ANGEL after all) Evil Eye Sigma in piano , keyboard and syntetisers (in gijinka mode) And Yuugen Magan (gijinka) in drums and percutions,and the light efects too.
Style? similar to Onmyousa but more eclecctic,mixing traditional instruments with electronic or weird sounds. Dressed in japanese style but in same time very complex outfits. And crossdress, oh yes in wa-lolita style, and the lyrics mix the past and future and their contradiccions (for the mix of generations in the group...)

I've actually imagined the Touhou characters performing music while listening to some of the vocal remixes there are out there. If I could animate (well, if I could at least DRAW when it comes to characters) then I'd love to experiment with different songs. If I had to think of the most appropriate position for each of the characters in a kind of music group... in general (note, I only know western instruments :<), I think it would be:

Marisa - Lead Vocalist
Mystia - Alternate Vocalist
Mima - Special Guest (false alarm, stupid tengu reporters)
Kaguya-hime - Soloist (Stage fright?! Help me Eirin!!)
Reimu & Sanae - Baton/Dancer (well okay, so its not a baton)
Hina - Dancer
China - Showgirl
Alice & Medicine - Choreography (and probably 90% of the performers)
