Build Phase

Alouette: "We've added some nice art to the mansion.  Mostly Kirala's works but some independant stuff as well."

Alouette increases morale gains by 3.

You added a defense tower.

Research Phase

Yuki: "Alright, time for some payback.  Er, and required work"

Research for Patchouli: 164

Win Game: 145

Eskarina: "This may take some time...."

Spells:

Elspeth: "I hope this doesn't become a weekly occurence.  No offense mistress, but I'd like a break at some point."

Ferra: "Yeah, I'm starting to annoy myself."

Summoned Ferra and Elspeth.  Turned 6 gems to iron and made 2 gems.

Special Actions

1) Ruby - hunt gems

Ruby: "Okay, I think I've figured this out.  If I kill 17 boars, then move to cheetahs..."

Ruby gained 26 gems grinding low level instances.

2+3) Ferra - Artifacts for Elle and Alouette

Ferra: "For Elle, a Dis-organizer."

Elle: "Oh!  Is this the one that plans my future events?  I've been looking for one of these."

Elle blocks 3 stress.

Ferra: "And for Alouette a RPG supliment book.  Apparently this lets you use any die in your bag instead of a d6 for Maid rolls.  Whatever those are."

Alouette: "Thank you Ferra.  I'll go borrow Eskarina's d34."

Alouette can accomplish almost anything, though asking for too much may cause side effects.

4) "Shotglass" - Bar busting

"Shotglass": "It was... Insane!  They carved the glasses from ice.  They juggled the bottles perfectly.  They could slide the drink to the right seat down the bar without looking...."

Hibachi: "Short term investments are getting harder.  Maybe I should do something mid term."

Elspeth: "It's pretty easy to plan things out for these two."

8+9) Glenda and Maya - tour

Glenda: "We did a Kabuki tour this time."

Maya: "It was... intense."

Yuki: "No more.  I don't want to know."

10+11) Mai and Eskarina help research

Mai: "Split the work."

Eskarina: "Agreed."

"Can they get past the turrets?" Yuki asked.  She didn't want to deal with those douchebags again.

Elspeth moved up.  "It's likely they can.  If they get enough monsters in nearby cover, they can safely teleport in while using those monsters to distract the turrets.  However Eskarina has a plan to stop that."  The maid pointed to where Eskarina was working on one of the two massive towers.

Yuki flew over right as Eskarina finished screwing on a focus mirror.  "There!"  The scientist looked over.  "Ah Miss Yuki!  I think I found a way to keep the monsters out!"

"Wouldn't the turrets do that normally?" Yuki asked.

"Not fast enough to stop all of them.  However I've developed an add on for the towers!  By adding these focus mirrors I can send a weaker blast of energy to an area of the battlefield without using up all the towers power.  With enough focus mirrors we can immitate a battery of defense towers that can pick off all the enemies."  She smiled.  "Also we should be able to use your power, as well as miss Mai's, to create fire and ice sub towers."

"But won't that keep them from being one shot kills?" Yuki asked.

Eskarina nodded.  "Sure but we can burn out the focus mirrors to get that back if those adventurers start getting too close."

Yuki nodded.  "Alright.  I want you to work with Elspeth to get a real time model working so we can best plan our defense.  Mai and I will indicate where these sub towers need to be made."

"Roger!"

"Well that was a waste of a day," Yuki muttered.

Mai nodded.

Elminia handed them some drinks.  "Still we did beat their army.  Without a lot of casualties this time."

"That's something I suppose," Yuki replied.

"I wonder if these weekly interuptions will stop when we deal with those responsible," Alouette mused.

Yuki sighed.  "One can only hope."
Event:Creeps.  Lots of Creeps.  The defenses handled them easily though.

Demonic Summoning - 50 mana - +1 special action.  Activated devils can act again.
Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Money Tree - 1 gem, 5 mana - Ads 5 income
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+15 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.   Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Forge Tool - Ferra.  Once per devil spend $1000 and 5 gems to gain a level.
Support - Elspeth.  By using her action one special action automatically succeeds.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.

Just to be certain, will Planar Portal take a build slot?

Looking at things, I think we should Build another Turret, and the High Class Resturant(didn't we build this earlier? or was the the basic?)

I vote, just for the sake of getting it out of our hair, to dump research into Research for Patchy. Through our aided research actions we end up getting an extra 40+ research per week, thats 225+ a week. May as well dump into Patchy this week, and if it's close enough to completion, the week after we split again.

For the Gems to *Mat* spells, we should put a bit more focus into Iron. Unless finishing all paths brings the Clock Towers price down THAT much, we will need to grind Iron

I feel we should drop Hibachi's wheel-and-deal, and if anything, spend 500-2000 on getting Iron and/or Gems.

As a note there's only so many defense towers that can be added.  You think there's only room for 2 more.

I still think a portal to MotK would be interesting to toy with.

Perhaps after we've got enough for the Clock Tower/can cast Win Game, we can try that, since the game's pretty much set by that point anyhow.

I think we've got to research Win Game to make the portal anyway, seeing as once a portal is made, there wouldn't be a whole lot stopping them from beating the everliving shit out of us.

A bigger issue is which ending we want to get, really  :V

We got the Nethack Heroes to deal with yet. And them dudes are probably alchemizing, blessing, and quaffing potions of full healing right now.

And god help us if they get a wand of fire and inscribe Elbereth. Or Graywandir...

Other thoughts include building a portal to MotK and looting the place.  Sadly without Win Game, they can only enter alternate universe MotK (like the library verse).  They can however loot the place.  These actions would replace some special actions, and cost mana and gems.

Maya: "That's where the ghost of the shrine maiden came from!"

Old man McGregor: "And I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling devils!  And that pesky bat too!"

Glenda and Maya cuaght the criminal!  But the show still didn't play so there was no money....

Yuki took deep breaths as she steadied herself.  She didn't approve of this nonsense.  The only reason she was down here was because the secret lair had a really nice gym.  And she was only in costume so Elspeth wouldn't comment on it.  Normally she didn't bother with such things, but, well... She'd just finished up and was heading towards the showers, when she caugh movement from the corner of her eye.  Turning she swore she saw something sneak behind a stalagmite.

Normal people would have thought it was a rat.  But Elspeth was too much of a stickler for cleanlyness to allow such things to last long.

Yuki called upon her subtler magics to give her the echolocation abilities of a bat.  She gave a supersonic squeek, and listened for it's return.

The results surprised her.  There was a large pool behind the rock.  That wasn't supposed to be there.

Yuki readied an attack spell and moved to see behind the rock.  She almost thought she'd misheard things when a tendril of darkness flowed out at her and slammed her backwards.  She tumbled across the ground.

She'd probably aquired a good deal of bruises, but even someone who'd stuck with danmaku battles knew to move after taking a hit.  She rolled to the side and leaped up into the air as another tendril struck at the area.

To her surprise the ooze creature flowed up into a humanoid form.  "I was here for White Fox, but you will do just as well Black Cat.  That annoyance's raid last night has set me back millions.  I'll take it out of your hide."

"Yeah sure.  Why don't I just boil you," Yuki said as she tossed a massive wave of fire across the room.

To her annoyance the creature dodged.  "Hrm...  Your magics are strong.  But alone you shall fall to Flowze."  It struck out with several more pseudopod, which Yuki was forced to dodge, while returning fire.

After the initial surprises though Yuki had the upper hand.  Her opponents attacks could target better, but Yuki could burn him if he over extended.  She began to push the monstrosity back.

"The white fox will be down here any second," Yuki stated.  "Then you won't be able to run."

"Hshhhh!  So it seems.  But I have another strategy."  The creature suddenly turned and ran.

Right towards where Elspeth was.

Yuki flew after as fast as she could but when she arrived she found she was too late.  'Flowze' had it's tentacles around Elspeth's neck, while Mai stood fuming to the side.  "Now," the creature said.  "Take off the mask or I break the devil's neck."

"You won't get away with this!" Mai said, reaching for her mask.

Suddenly there was a distortion and Elspeth appeared behind Mai.  "Sorry.  It took me some time to manage the teleportation magic without being able to speak."

Yuki and Mai didn't bother replying they just froze then blew apart the monstrosity.

Yuki sighed.  "Well I guess we better hunt down and finish off this thing's gang."

Charm Devil - 10 mana - Removes negative mental effects from a devil.  Costs morale.
Cure Devil - 30 mana - Heals a Devil of any physical condition. Removing Death costs 5 gems more.
Dig - 30 mana - Decreases building costs by 10 wood and iron.  Usable once per structure.
Create Foundation - 100 mana - Increase building discount by 5%
Enhance Devil - 50 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness at the cost of a week of exhaustion.
Devil Trigger - 200 mana - Doubles Devils effectiveness
Demonic Summoning - 50 mana - +1 special action.  Activated devils can act again.
Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Money Tree - 1 gem, 5 mana - Ads 5 income
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+15 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.   Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Forge Tool - Ferra.  Once per devil spend $1000 and 5 gems to gain a level.
Support - Elspeth.  By using her action one special action automatically succeeds.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.

When should we go ahead with the Super Devil Summon (summon 4+ of the same devil)? I mean, Yuki's at -10% stress right now, so OBVIOUSLY she's a bit too tipsy from Shotglass's new drink to realize that it might be a bad idea.
