Clearly it's because Yuki wants in BatMai's pants and doesn't need Mai getting the wrong message.

I'd prioritize whatever we can get the most of, as far as goodies > materials go. Hibachi can apply her skills and knowledges to analyze market fluctuations and what fell off the back of a cart recently to make the proper decisions.

Notes:
The Scroll of Building is a one time use item.  If anyone could research it it would be you or Mai.  The skill required for the base spell is vastly beyond anything the devils can manage.

If you  send people out for materials I need the specifc materials you're looking for.  Or at least priorities.
Get Mai to work on the scroll then.  We don't give her enough to do.
Giving the devils free time will keep them from becoming restless, because the bored ones will find something to do.  This could be helpful, but it's more likely you'll wind up with a cake containing a devil wearing only a ribbon arriving at your bedroom.  And for some reason that causes Yuki stress.
You sir, just made my day.
I'd prioritize whatever we can get the most of, as far as goodies > materials go. Hibachi can apply her skills and knowledges to analyze market fluctuations and what fell off the back of a cart recently to make the proper decisions.
Might wanna consider getting iron or gems because they seem hard to get.

I'd prioritize iron over gems right now. The atelier and wine cellar are somewhat tempting but neither are more tempting than the casting chamber, the lab or the mansion proper.

Well, naming the Bodyguard seems like it'll be a good idea, and I suggest Break or Wave as names. Or was the name Joan meant as a reference?

I personally blame a combination of Age of Empires 2 and my affinity for historical stuff.

Let's have Glenda use our notoriety to try and parley that into drawing larger crowds to our various events.

It may also be a good idea to eventually get her to look for an acting job somewhere.

Brilliance. Bigger crowds, and thus more money.

Although, I don't quite see why we should name the Bodyguard after Joan of Arc, maybe it's just cause I'm not a history person.

Idk, but SF3 uses it for a girl. I'm suggesting as I come up with idea's, so sorry if they are meh-tastic. But no matter what, we gotta name the Bodyguard.

Morale seems fine to me, but if we seek to improve it, wouldn't is be better to have an event like the dance party?

We seem to have quite a bit of money.

Maybe while out doing whatever action was assigned, Hibachi could buy maps of places for Ruby to explore or ways for Ferra to improve.

As a name, maybe Thaoss? (THou shAlt nOt paSS)

I'd build a fence because I'm paranoid and it uses up less than half our income.
Little did he know, the shed was near Yuyuko, who was in a role-play of Dune. As a sandworm.

A fence would be nice, but we do need to save for other things.

Might be a good idea to send Ruby out to look for untended wood in the future.

Week 9 Results

Building Phase

Research Phase

Forge - 110

Yuki: "Augh!  I'm so close!  What am I missing!"

Quote from: Fluff
Bodyguard had always seemed odd to Yuki.  Mainly because she was always serious.  Or always pretending to be serious.  Yuki couldn't tell if it was a front, or something innate to the devils job.

Putting that thought aside she finished the spell.  "Your name is Joan!"

Yuki nearly jumped when Joan smiled.  "Thank you Miss Yuki.  It will be my pleasure to guard you and Miss Mai from harm."

"Whoa, when did you speak like that?" Yuki asked.  She began checking the runes to see if she'd messed anything up.

"Just now," Joan looked at Yuki curiously.  "Didn't Miss Mai tell you?  A devils name influences their actions.  While it can't change our core personality as succubi we do have to change our persona."

Yuki shuddered.  "That still seems a little messed up."

Joan laughed.  "Don't worry Miss Yuki.  Most of us have very fixed personalities, because those are part of our jobs.  People who fetishize Office Ladies or Doctors have certain expectations about their personality.  Devils like me however are more flexible.  Besides, I think I prefer this to the 'dour' style that modern casters have."

Yuki sighed and made a mental note to bug Mai about this.  "Well so long as you're happy...."

"Oh, about the job.  I'll be needing to sleep by your side to perform my duties to their fullest extent.  You won't have a problem with that right?"

"Denied."
Spells:
You name Joan
As a named devil her level is automatically increased by one.  For naming a devil, Morale and Max Morale have increased by 5.

Joan     Bodyguard   1   +5 defense. Can take hits for other devils.

Elspeth:  "It's not exactly a Fortress of Solitude.  But maybe if we make a real wine cellar we can secretly improve this place as well."

Special Actions
1: Glenda - Draw customers

Glenda - "Hm...  Until we get a stage I'm not sure how much good this will do, but we will get a bit of a crowd."

Glenda has drawn in the crowds.  Your income will be increased by 10% of your notoriety.  Notoriety increased by 67.  You gained $160 during the marketing blitz.

2 + 3: Hibachi + Ferra - Sell knick knacks

-Hibachi: "Hm...  You want materials in return?"
+Ferra: "I have a few ideas.

Gained 10 wood, 9 iron.

4: Mai - Study the scroll

Mai: "Not really my field but I'll see what I can do."

Mai puts 50 research into enhance devil.

Mai: "I've got an idea, but it'll take more study.

5+6: Sakaki and Apophis - COntinue Building investigations

Sakaki: "I have an idea.  Look here."
Apophis: "Hey, that could work."

Sakaki and Apophis draw up plans for a moat that would allow you to skip needing to build a fence on it's own.

Sakaki: "It'll cost more, but I think it's worth it to save the time."

7: Ruby - Search for Iron

Ruby: "The Iron Mountains should have Iron, right?"

Gained 18 iron, 6 gems, $40.
Ruby got 110 XP, Ruby gained a level! Ruby learned Quick Attack!

Ruby: "What do you mean the ores already been mined!?  Oh well we can recycle the mine cars."

8: Helepolis - Massage

Helepolis: "Here again?  Let me help you calm down."
Lose 13 stress.

Quote from: Fluff
Yuki awoke to a massive rumbling.  "What the hell is it this time!?" she yelled at the heavens.  And the heavens seemed to answer as her window burst in, along with several gallons of water.

Yuki cautiously looked out the window to find that she was now on the first floor above sea level.  This was a little odd, in that there wasn't supposed to be a sea, but sometimes odd things happened in Makai.

There was a knock on the door, then a click as someone used a lock picking spell.  Yuki frowned at Mai as she came in.  "I hate it when you do that."  After a second she blinked.  "And what are you wearing."

"A one piece.  Bikini's are a pain with the wings," Mai answered simply.  "You'll want something too.  The whole first floors flooded.  Weather spells say it'll be like that for another three days."

Yuki swore for a few minutes, then sighed.  "At least the books have been waterproofed.  The rest of the house will be a mess though."

Mai shrugged.  "It's only money."

"Only money!?  Do you realize...."  Yuki's tirade faded as she thought about it for a moment.  "We're filthy rich now aren't we."

Mai nodded.

"Okay then."  Yuki turned towards her dresser to find her own suimsuit.  "Well I'll get dressed and check up on the devils."

Joan stepped into the doorway.  "No need to worry Miss Yuki.  We're all okay."

Yuki burried her face in her hands.  "That's good to hear, but why are you naked?"

Joan blinked.  "Well there's water everywhere.  Since we are swimming anyway...."

"Suimsuit." Mai said in her normal even tone.

Joan looked dissapointed.  "Ha!  Told you," Dancer said as she walked in.  "A proper suimsuit is far more sexy then mere nakedness."  She procceeded to stretch to prove her point.

Yuki coughed.  "That's nice and all, but could you all get out of my room so I can change!?"

Events:
Huge Flood!  The mansion took $222 in damages.  The devils enjoyed their beach time, +8 morale.  Yuki enjoyed the beach time too, despite the 'accidental' gropings.  No stress gained.[/i][/b]

From this weeks work you gained 0 stress

Naming Dancer sounds good to me.

I suggest that we finish up the Artificers Forge research and maybe pour the rest into Patchy's research.  I'd also like Mai to keep researching that Scroll.

We could build a bar, but lets keep our wood for something else.

As with last week, I think we should get Hibachi and Ferra to sell knick-knacks for materials.  I also think we should get Ruby to try and find a better source of iron.  Maybe we can get Chou to go out and look for cookbooks to expand her cooking repertoire.  Finally, I think we should get Sakaki and Apophis to continue their building investigations.
