"Good taste" is telling. It's a wonder her impulsiveness hasn't led to any making out yet.

Valid point to bring up - Remilia will be stronger in the evening/night. If Renko wants an easy fight, she might want to wait until midday tomorrow. If she wants to prove her strength, then issuing a more open challenge rather than a surprise attack would make her more legitimate. Either way, bringing up that Remilia would be stronger can lead into an explanation from her, show concern, and perhaps let us give an excuse to delay the attack. Ze plans!

Of course, that relies on knowing that Remilia is a vampire, and I'm not 100% certain of that.

I don't think Maribel even knows Remilia's name. But Renko already mentioned a 'vampire' in the house.

>"Well, I suppose you have it, then." She says. "I'm doing it because it'll work, and I'll win big. Enough to really get me started out here."

Note: Satori would know who helped Utsuho recover, if it hasn't been mentioned already - or even how it was done. Worth asking on the way out.

Also, we need to talk to Byakuren. She has some interest in showing the fairies respect, if sending Ichirin to hang out with them in the winter is any indication. And even if Lemon Drop is a limited representation, the fairies do seem to care about that to an extent, even without attacking the SDM. If anyone would lend a sympathetic (or distracting) ear it would be her group. Of course, we don't have to let her 'official' explanation for showing up being hearing about/diverting the attack, but a wandering girl hearing that one or two of the fairies wanted respect and that there was a large group of them in the forests there, soooo... Stealth modus. <3

While risky, talking to the SDM about showing a little more sympathy for the fairies and/or confusing the shit out of them by presenting a softer side in response to the attack instead of striking immediately could throw expectations out of whack. It's doubtful that they'd buy it, though - it's clear Remi cares about her reputation, but not necessarily being nice about it. It might be worth suggesting as long as we aren't pushy about it, though.

'Loot' doesn't necessarily imply money. And Patchouli's library is quite a treasure. A splittable one, at that.

I'm aware there are non-monetary things other people might want from there. But that's not the impression I was getting from Renko about what she was personally interested in. And I'm pretty sure, in her case, the books aren't it.

I don't think it's even money - it's power. Money is an easy way to represent that power, especially in 'our' world, but that seems like what she wants. To be the strongest. The ruler. The master. The ki...queen.

Are you still opposed to mentioning (at this juncture) the obvious moral dubiousness of teaming up with a stranger to divide someone else's possessions among yourselves?
