Fuck, I missed having you around these parts. I have a small rant with no useful information over at the shmups forum if you want to talk about numbers for the Extra stage. Or you can put that genius mind to work and tell me how to freeze most of the point items in Easy. Even though they suck. Easy - A2 Heartbeam - 25,405,670 - C - 0.140% - Replay Normal - A2 Heartbeam - 34,157,130 - C - 0.260% - Replay Extra Heartbeam - 76,520,250 - C - 0.260% - Replay Normal was really bad with the deaths as well and I ended with around 560% motivation. Didn't know what to expect in the final battle so I eventually threw my hands in the air and said whatever goes. Easy...trying to learn not to underestimate the rate of the freeze meter when you're charging (if it does go faster) while waiting on the next bullet ring to pop up, otherwise it may catch up to the boss. Only played A2 to completion three times so far. And something that's bothered me for a bit back when you were doing submissions for Mystic Square. I soon realized it was pointless to do stage score comparisons if the meter is going to be skewed by misses. |

Easy just doesn't really interest me that much. I may go back to it, but I enjoy this game because of the visceral feel of freezing a lot of stuff, and you really can't do much of that in Easy. Also, are point items worth 1000 normally and 5000 frozen, always? Like, they don't scale based on your freeze meter or anything? If so, they're damn near useless. |

That's what it looks like! Such a shame. Normal - A2 Heartbeam - 41,735,820 - C - 0.150% - Replay 1000%, but that doesn't make the run look any prettier. Too many problems to list, but the only one I want to get off my mind is the very first spell. I planned to compensate for the open spot that forms around you by being next to the boss when bombing, but sort of forgot until after the last bomb went off. No doubt this has been answered and I'm poor with the search function, or I didn't try one more thing, and this isn't the best place, and anyway. --- Quote ---There is an issue with the Replay menu where it crashes when you have a misnamed replay (for example, you saved a replay for Route A1 and the replay registered as B1). To fix this, save another replay. --- End quote --- Okay, for an older run I went for completion even though the high score changed to something outside of the whole route after stage one. Saving another replay didn't work, and I messed around with naming and trying out different slots, but the main thing is all 25 slots were already holding a run. You have to save it over another empty slot, then? I guess I'll find out another day. So there's the formula behind the clear bonus! No need to worry about bomb stock now, but I was hoping the power meter would be of benefit. There it went...85M guesstimate for Extra attained and surpassed. Next in sight? |

Somewhat encouraging that I can still use bombs to get good freeze coverage up until the end... But that point item garbage isn't, though. Really wish there was more emphasis put on performance during the game too, rather than the "resources" you have at the end. And on top of all that, planned bombs are putting me in tears. Yet here I am, still playing for score :derp: EDIT: You also need an account to download replays from that forum (and view certain boards), which most of us don't have. You wouldn't mind re-upping that replay somewhere, would you? |

And where the person searched it out...but at a glance it seems to make sense. Along with runs from LYX who is well on his way to overtaking the UFO Normal WR from the left field with Marisa-A. Chilling! Unless bound by oath, moozooh may be willing to slip some replays to you from under the table. |
