Custom Music in PoFV... Not Looping Properly
« on: August 10, 2010, 11:09:48 PM »
I've been playing around with the Touhou BGM Changer for a bit and decided to change some songs from PoFV with my own choices.
I replaced 3 songs so far. Two were from YouTube videos that I converted to WAVs, the other was Love Coloured Master Spark that I ripped myself from TH8. I put custom loop points for the YouTube songs, but I used a loop point for LCMS from here. The one of the custom songs played perfectly until it reached the end, where it just became static instead of looping. I didn't test the other custom song. Strangely, LCMS played and looped absolutely fine with no static.
Any ideas for why this is happening/suggestions on how to stop this?

EDIT: Never mind... the BGM Changer only allows up to two decimals... any more and it will cause static.

Because you need to change all the musics.
Allow me to explain: there are, let's says, 5 music in a touhou game.
You want to change the music 2 and 3.
So, the first will work fine, but the loop points for the 4th and the 5th will be changed.
Which means that you need to change almost all the music.

Good luck, hope I helped you.

I'm pretty sure the static problem was still there when I changed all the music, too.
But the problem is already fixed... loop points need to be to the nearest hundredth.
