>"Well, good luck. To all of us."

>Look up. Do we see anything that we have any idea how to interpret?
>Otherwise, wait patiently

>"Indeed," says Keine.
>You see...a whole lot of darkness, save for a couple streaks of dim light.
>"What," Parsee says. "There's nothing up there!"
>"It's not written yet," says Keine. "There's just some sort of possibilities that are fairly likely to happen."
>With that, she begins to get to work. Or...at least you think she gets to work, as she closes her eyes and holds the crystal tightly. The colorful lines around you begin to whip quietly whip around. At one point, one of them touches you, and phases through you. Parsee holds tightly to your hand. You watch them with an eye used to discerning danmaku patterns, and notice many of them intertwine and some stretch off beyond your sight.  Curiously enough, for all their twisting and wending, none on them ever curve back on themselves, they're always going upward, and never downward.
>"I think I get it now," whispers Parsee at one point. "She's Stargazer, isn't she? Look at the hair, and how she's built."
>After some time passes, maybe ten minutes, the swaying of the lines comes to a halt. "That should do it," says Keine. "I'll definitely have to give it a check-up for the next few months, but everything should be proper again. I should warn you, though, there are going to be some...oddities. People may notice them, they may not. It won't be anything huge, I don't think, but I won't be able to tell what they are until we actually step out. At the very least, everyone should be fine. So, get ready."
>You are in your bedroom in the Palace of the Earth Spirits. It is moderately sized, and pretty messy. Clothes and things are everywhere, while your desk holds your collection of shiny trinkets. You wardrobe hangs half open. Obvious exits are North.

>You look around...wait a minute. Why is your prized General Tor figure that you won in a speed running competition in the other world on your desk?
>You check a mirror inside your wardrobe. You look like shit, and your closes are torn up, but you're still the same hell crow as before.

>You don't remember anything different... Weird.
>You change clothes...which your desperately needed. It's been two days, and those things now have more than their share of grim and sweat from all the stuff you've been doing.
>You head north, and find yourself in a hallway lined with stained glass windows. It's a bit dusty, and has more than its share of cat hair around. A vacuum cleaners would be great here. Alas. Not far from your room, you see a door with a little wooden sign hanging on it that says "Satori" in cute colorful letters, with a little hammer and knocker dangling from it. There is a cat in the hall; Marsil...no wait, she's Commander Boots here. Obvious exits are North1, North2, North3, and East.

>Because this is Gensokyo and shit don't have to make sense for you. Database Error. All norths in this hall are souths.
>You look into Satori's room. It's full of stuffed animals and has a large canopied bed. An old dumbwaiter shaft that no one ever uses rests on the wall. You see no sign of Satori in here.
>You check the next room; this one is Orin's. It's pretty threadbare, but clean. She doesn't spend much time in here. And, unsurprisingly, she's not here.

>Head east

>You go east, and descend down a stairway into a hall. Another stairway to the east leads to the guest wing, and Koishi's old room.  To the south, you can see the sizable entry hall, where several cats are having a little tussle. To the west is a hall leading to a sitting room, and to the east is a hall leading to a gallery that hasn't been used in as long as you can remember. To the north is the courtyard, where the entrance to Blazing Hell can be found. There's some old tapestries on the walls, showing scenes of beautiful caverns. Obvious exists are East 1, East 2, West 1, West 2, North, and South.

>Go to the sitting room

>You head toward the sitting room.
>This is where a lot of the activity in the manor happens. As such, there are numerous chairs, and many bits of pleasing decor, such as vases that the cats are instructed not to touch; and you weren't allowed the perch on them in the old days. Portraits of the family line the walls, while an old organ rests in the corner, which no one here knows how to play. Obvious exits are east.
>Satori is here, sitting in her favorite chair and sewing a quilt. Several cats play with the yarn at her feet. "Oh, hello Okuu," she says, looking up and smiling.

> If we still have the pocket watch we should give it back to Sakuya

>She might want that back, later, but you are not in the mood for the walk right now.

>Could Satori normally read our mind, or did that not work on animal youkai?

>"Yeah, just feeling a little... edgy, that's all. Everything business as usual around here?"

>She most certainly could. Back in the old days, it was the best thing ever, because you could express yourself. Nowadays, it's a little troubling since your thoughts are more complex and you have a sense of privacy. But you know she doesn't mean it, and tries not to judge.
>"Well, mostly," she says.

> "Yeah, I just had a...really weird dream. It was about the outside world, I think, and we were all there, but things were all wrong, and Koishi hated me, and...it was just really weird."

>"As did I," she says, frowning a little. "And...you don't think it's a dream, do you?"

>"And, uh... how much do you remember about this dream?"

>"It's it a little odd that we've shared the same dream?" asks Satori. "And...it's spotty. But I remember clearly living in a small house, as a human. It was a happy dream, really. You and Orin were my daughters in the eyes of the law,  I helped out at an animal shelter. We were poor, but it wasn't an issue for us."
