>You continue onwards. You can eventually see more kappa structures, further along the river, and clustered closer together around the base of the mountain. The place seems a little more developed than you remember. You don't see any kappa milling about, but there's a good chance most of them are probably just sleeping.
>The river branches near here, with the bulk of it descending from the mountain in a great cascade of waterfalls, and another major stream moving off to the west, through grassy flatlands. The tengu live further up the mountain, on a scattering of small plateaus that would seem inhospitable to most but them.
