Imagine Left 4 Dead, but with Aliens and bullets everwhere. It will be released tomorrow. I haven't heard of this game until yesterday but it looks fun and since it's free I'll give it a try. The game was designed by modders hired by Valve. It seems to have mixed the survival elements of L4D and class system of TF2. It has over 40 weapons and 4 classes.

Anyone want to try it out?

Note how there's a hat-related reference to TF2 in one of the achievements (forgot which) with an icon of a Heavy wearing an alien as a hat :V

Should run on mine, though I'll have to turn the settings waaay down, and then expect less than stellar framerates even then. Such is my computer... Even so, I'm in. This looks very enjoyable, and I needed a new online game.

I rarely use Steam (actually, aside from downloading Portal for free, not at all) so I don't know what this is supposed to be.

I don't remember friendly fire being in the original mod.

I accidentally unloaded a shotgun round into one of the tech guy's in my squad because I can't aim. :V

Parasites are stupid. You can't remove them and they drain health faster than you can heal. What. It's like "HEY I HOPE YOU LIKE HUDDLING NEAR YOUR MEDIC FOR HALF THE GAME BECAUSE LOLPARASITES." Really makes me want to play the original again.

Flamethrowers and mediguns are the best way to deal with them, I think. Of course, the game just came out so nobody really has them so... :ohdear:

I found out that the electrical armor is awesome for dealing with parasites. Shame it only has 3 uses.
