"Uu-!"
Kogasa gives out a little cry of shock as the glove smacks her in the face, before passing out. You're sort of glad you aren't her right now - she'll probably fall right out the sky and hit the ground like a rock. Maybe not fatal, but DAMN it would hurt.
...Wait. She hasn't let go of your leg, and you can't support this sort of weight while flying. In fact, you aren't even flying anymore - Kogasa's heavy enough to pull you down with her, and you start on a crash course for the ground below.

>Can we fly horizontally, and soften our fall via application of another force? And possibly hit a pond.
>Your (read: the parser's) knowledge of physics states that the downward force will remain constant wherever you land, though you admit that you could definitely find a softer landing spot. Hopefully no-one will notice the rocket arm standing upright out of the ground.
Looking around quickly, there isn't a pond in sight, and indeed a lot of the scenery below you consists of various buildings from the human village. At this rate, it'd probably take all your effort to avoid colliding with a human home, and you REALLY don't want to piss off your former allies.

> I actually meant hold onto the part that goes upward, but oh well, sorry I offended you, Parser, I'm not good at describing my thoughts
> What's in your hand? I have it. It's a parser, containing instructions for the CYOA you love.
Look again. The parser is now Parsee, and she's jealous of you for being so carefree about hurting people's feelings.

>Look for a haystack or hay wagon to aim for.
>Failing that, a compost heap =[
> You feel strangely like an assassin as you see a haystack in the distance and aim yourself towards it, karakasa still in tow. You hit the hay pretty hard, but a lot less harder than you'd have hit ordinary ground.
A nearby horse whinnies in horror as its food gains a new topping. You trudge out of the hay, feeling straws clinging to yourself in places you didn't know existed, as you pull the still-unconscious Kogasa out as well.

> Do we have anything to tie her up with? If so tie her feet and hands and take and tie umbrella for good measure, if not just take the umbrella
> She's still unconscious, but to be safe you tie her up with a cable you happened to have handy. The umbrella seems almost attached to her arm - you yank at it, but you can't get it out of her hand.
With some effort, you haul the unconscious youkai to the hall. A muscular looking guard watches you enter in surprise, taking Kogasa off your hands. He looks to a woman at a nearby desk, who seems rather flustered as she takes out the 10,000 yen reward and hands it to you.
You can taste those cucumbers already.
As you walk out, however, you suddenly realise something is missing from the scenery outside the hall. The missing item is given away by the large fist-shaped hole in the ground - your rocket arm was jammed here. In fact, it was here when you walked into the hall, so where did it...wait, is that a note?

> You hope that curse gods have a use for the currency of mere mortals. You don't exactly have many souls lying around.

>Do you think you could create another weapon?
> With the various trinkets you have sitting around, you can probably make an accessory or something, but you'd need to have a good idea what to make before you started.

> Okay, lets fly there
> You set off for the Youkai Forest. It's a long trip, so you suppose if there's anything you want to try tinkering with now is the time.

> Why would you need a time skip? You're already here.
> You trek into the forest, hoping that these curse gods are relatively easy to find. The path gets dark fast, and after a few minutes you realise you've lost track of which way you came in. There are various paths to take - to the NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST - but none of them seem any more useful than the others...

>Where are the footsteps coming from?
>If you can tell, follow footsteps.
>If you can't stay.
> Unfortunately, no. You decide to wait around in the hope that the footsteps come to you, and thankfully they grow louder over time. There's something erratic about them, though - the sound doesn't seem right for someone walking. It gets two steps closer, then one back, then two closer...
"Twirl, twirl~"
The reason for this soon becomes evident, as a youkai with long green hair and a bright red ribbon passes by you doing some sort of pirouette. She's not very good, though, stumbling and stepping on the ground every so often but continuing on unfazed. She seems too absorbed in her own dance practice to notice you.
