All VA from Touhou M-1 Grand Prix 2nd, 3rd, 4th are fitting more the character than any other VA I heard.

This. Triple this for Kanako in particular. My goodness.

Hmm, I think so about most of the skits I've heard from it. I like Mokou's voice in it. It sounded a bit off the first time I heard it, but then I realized that a boyish voice fit her, too. I think she'd sound good with either a boyish, upbeat voice like in Grand Prix, or a deeper, mature tone.

Also, Kaguya should have a very light, soft, and quiet tone of voice, being the yamoto nadeshiko that she is. Eirin talks like a mature woman, and Mima should deep but soft voice.

Actually for Kanako, Suwako, Sanae, Aya, Nitori, and the Komeiji sisters, I really like the voices that they have in the Earl Gray Radio...
Maybe I can get around to translating that in the future...
...Anyhow, the VAs are really great in the Earl Gray Radio and Image Vocals done by Earl Gray.

To explain somewhat more closer on the M-1

I have listened like to most Iosys, innocent key or that Touhou anime project. The only one I find closest to somewhat fitting the character is Marisa's, Reimu's voice in the anime project. Though I find the voices in M-1 more charming because they sound more mature and "closer" to their PMiSS profiles.

Though there is a difference in the M-1 voices. As the first earlier manzai (think first time they appeared) they had different voices for Remilia, Flandre, Marisa, Alice, Chen, Ran. But seems in the latter they kept Chen and Ran's voices during judgement with Eiki-sama and upgraded Marisa's and Remilia's voice.

I just can't get enough of Marisa's ze voice:

What I find meself wondering is, would Rie Kugimiya be best as Mokou, Nitori, or perhaps Kogasa? Naw, Yuka Inokuchi would make an awesome Kogasa. Which leaves the other two...

I've played too much Dissidia to not pair up the FF girl voices with Touhou characters.

Yuka - Laura Bailey (Cloud of Darkness)
Sanae - Natalie Lander (Terra/Tina Branford)
Yukari - Tasia Valenza (Ultimecia)
Byakuren - Kathleen McInerney (Cosmos)
Reimu - Rachael Leigh Cook (Tifa)

I don't know why, but it seems to connect in my mind. :V

Oh look, I got an image in my signature. Finally.
