Gunbuster and Diebuster. 6 delightful episodes each. I just finished watching them and loved them :3

I was gonna watch Tatami Galaxy, but I decided to set that aside for now and watch some Paranoia Agent in memory of Satoshi Kon. I've only seen Paprika, so I'll be exploring his works for a while. :<

But, um, yeah.  Don't wanna sound like a broken record or anything, but you could do so much worse than checking out the 'busters.  And since they're only 6 episodes each, it's not like they'll take up too much of your time, although it'll be time well spent as they more then make the most out of their short episode counts~

Don't know what your tastes are, but I reccomend Haibane Renmei, Paranoia Agent, Eve no Jikan, Kino no Tabi, Toradora, and Eden of the East, off the top of my head.

Ok, so I am watching Asobi ni Iku Yo and everyone knows that because I harp about it.
Now, I really like the show and its direction, its soundtrack is kick ass, Momiji is kick ass (not the white wolf tengu or that Momiji), CIA best friend is kick ass, Uncle is kick ass, heck, even Eris the big boob space catgirl is kickass (when she uses her special weapons etc)

everything is great

except

Kio isn't only pathetic, he's completely blank and boring-if you took him out of the show it wouldn't mean much of anything-you could put anyone in his place and nothing would change.
He doesn't react to fucking anything.

Encountering an alien on earth? No big deal.

Getting shot at in a military base with your uncle? No biggie.

Your house is now an embassy for a space-traveling race of catgirls? Eh, bound to happen someday.

Your friend is a psychic secret agent? Your childhood friend was working for the CIA? Hey, who doesn't know someone like that?

Holy shit, everyone wants to fuck you? Nah, I'd rather stare at the wall and watch paint dry or something, sorry guys.

Oh, and I may be a bit shy and inexperienced with women, but if a catgirl from space decided she wanted me to mate with her, to the point where she's grinding on top of me and begging, I'm pretty sure I'd fuck her pretty hard.

It is sort of true, don't mind that guy from Amagami SS tho, he fails one romance, and he becomes the best player in the whole show.

also, let's not forget that guy from school days, this asshole plays with women like he changes clothings and mops the floor with them, all the while having at least one of them kiss his balls for luck.

finally there was, Komura from Highschool of the Dead, who although typical, at least knows how to shoot zombies.

don't mind him tagging along if a zombie apocalypse were to happen.
