I want Argentina to win and Portugal to lose in the group stages to prove those critics that Messi really is the best player in the world and C.Ronaldo is just a fucking over-payed party boy. Problem is that Maradona is coaching, and they aren't doing well with him around by their standards. Well, at least Portugal is playing like shit as well and Brazil is gonna beat them pretty hard. |

I agree about Argentina. They can win, but not with that coach. |

But Sergio Romero seems like a good keeper this time. He's young and helped the Argentina U20 team win the World cup in 2007, so I can see he's gonna be alright for this time around, I just hope the defense is as well. |

God, journalists have a Messi-mania here (I'm from Argentina by the way). Gotta agree with the Maradona issue. I mean, last year in that conference I KNEW he was going to say something epic/terrible/disastrous and boy he delivered but... No, I don't like the guy at all. He played well and all in the past but from that to making almost a deity by some people it's plain silly. We can't live just of that, jeez. Anyway, I like Palermo and Ver?n despite the infamous "attitude" back in 2006 in the Korea-Japan World Cup. To make things worse, the manager is an ex-football player and my father is an ex-referee so both are going to be crazy during the match. They love football, they can NOT stop talking about football. |
