Stay low on the screen, just above the very bottom of the playing field. You'll be amazed how the card suddenly becomes incredibly easy :V

I stay near the middle of the screen.  Dash across to the opposite side from where the "train" is coming (don't ram the arrow bullets), move vertically in the direction that the train came from.  You should either avoid all the amulets or only have a few of them with huge gaps so they're easy to dodge.

Had a couple of friends over tonight. I was complaining about my recent UFO heartache (see rant thread) and they started up about how I must be crap at games, etc, and they'd beaten the one I liked 20 times.

So I offered them to try MoF Stage 4 on Normal with a character of their choice. One of them made a point that he'd rather play as Alice, taking a name at random. I immediately alt-F4'd and loaded up Imperishable Night, then offered him an Alice Solo run on Normal.

He died before Wriggle's first spellcard. My other friend made it to the first card, then got mesmerised by the pattern around her to the point where he didn't see the larger blue bullets smash into his character.

Of course, they then gave me the controller and I did it no-focus no-PoC perfect. I alt-F4'd afterwards and we did something else.

When the blue laser arm is fired, follow it to misdirect the aimed bullets correctly. Once you realize that, the card should become fairly trivial. Similar to how Ran's first card is!

Meiling's first spellcard on normal that she uses at her midboss encounter.

I don't know why, the pattern throws me off every now and then and I lose focus, or I move much more faster than I wanted too into a bullet.

This ! This makes me die every time.

Also, I sometimes die in an epic fashion playing 12.3. . . against Cirno.
Where is the corner to hide in shame ?

1.  Horizontally moving along a already dodged bullet for no reason whatsoever, just to move into it just before it goes off screen
2. Not moving despite consciously realising "this bullet will hit me in a second or so", without any other bullets being around
3. Realising that I trapped myself and still not wanting to bomb, rather than just running into the bullets
4. Not using bombs in general - unless I really focus on using bombs, I usually die with three or four bombs in stock
5. Then being frustrated about loosing lives so quickly
6. Barely being able to get through IN on normal difficulty without using more than 1 continue

I do to. I'm only just starting to get out of that habit.

I'm not sure if this counts, but I often play EoSD with the music off...just so I can hear the cool jingling sounds Meiling makes when she moves better.

Total Purification is something like 0/150 for me and about to overtake Fantasy Heaven for "most number of attempts before a capture" (with Imperishable Shooting a close second with its fifth and sixth waves)... that card feels VoWG hard for me for some mysterious reason :ohdear:

That's a problem. Delusion of Enlightenment is streaming - stay low and move slowly. Five Signs of a Dying Deva requires staying under Youmu's position when she fired the last wave - then it's easy. If you have trouble with Yojana, play PoFV. Youmu isn't unfair, but requires skills you don't use much in PCB. Go play SA or UFO of you have trouble with her.

Trying to intentionally death bomb in MoF on the last fairy in stage 6 and failing to do so.  Seriously, I can death bomb quite consistently and the one time I actually plan it out, it fails.
