Baity, One True Idiot Maiden makes a Will save![08:48] <Baity> .roll 1d20

You'll have to do better than that :smug:
"With 11 alive it takes 6 to ly- wait, this isn't Mafia.", Baity started. "Well, there's 11 of you still here I see. Unless I appear to be miscounting."
"Moving on, your next challenge is... oh! How about this?".
Challenge II: You don't need artistic skills for this one, I swear!
not so expected/10 edition
This one is simple by design with a bit of a bastard factor in it. To be succinct, you're to draw (or write, if you wish) a 4-koma / 4koma / whatever the hell you people use by convention to write it down as. The theme must relate to
anything MotK related. While I may say "anything", I don't mean "anything" to the point of being obscure; if your submission doesn't make sense to me that's a bad thing. Your focus could be various members which can include mods, lurkers, other members, also anything in the "
Lecture Series (
non-SSL version)", running jokes, and the like.
Various amendments to the rules have been made; you're allowed to change your names again. Considering that most of you already have... oh well :V
Rules and notes:
- Ask a question in-thread, do not PM me about it. IRC is still allowed though, however I will post the log here.
- The exception to the above is "Is this acceptable to use for this challenge?" and other questions of its kind.
- You will not be judged by artistic skill (i.e. how well you can draw).
- You are allowed to use existing images as you see fit. However, you must credit the source, or at least credit where you got it from (e.g. <this> game or <that> comic series or whatever).
- That said, my judging will be based on
two three components: Humor, Originality, and Miscellany. - Humor is self-explanatory.
- Originality is a special score, being rated in value increments 1, 4, 7 and 10. If somebody submits something similar or identical to yours, you lose points based on how close it is. To get this out of the way, a copy-paste from another competitor will result in both people getting a 1. Two (or more) people using the same people will still result in a 10, given that the 4-koma's relate to something different. This is one part of the the psychological aspect of the challenge.
- Miscellany is a secret value. Don't worry, said values shouldn't deviate out of sheer "asshatery". That said, the default value for this is 5 so don't be worried if you get a 5 for this.
- Unlike the previous challenge, everybody is on even ground for this one.
- There may be judges other than me. Keep this in mind. That said, if you're not one of the the current participants (i.e. you're a spectator or you're dead) if you're interested in signing up for judging, ask away! I'll even let you use your own judging system! There's a limit though.
- Ijiyatsu portrayals are a bit of a delicate matter, pay very good attention to what you're doing when using them.
Submitting details:
- You are to submit your final work by PM.
- Stick to the format of a 4-koma, though I will accept 5-koma's (:V) if you really want to make one.
- For the purpose of this challenge, you can make an idiot of anybody in this forum, though keep it in humor boundaries.
- If you're going to use something obscure (read: something that I don't know about) do link back to it.
- Reference sources used (i.e. images mostly) if any.
- Don't forget a title!
"Dead people" and "outsiders" are allowed to submit. They will still be assessed, however it will have no bearing on how this ends.
I'll be posting an example on a topic completely unrelated to get you guys going if you're still stuck. It'll come in a few days though.
Deadline: 144 hours from this post.
