Heart Gold. I'm just before going out to the Elite 4, I haven't managed to beat the Kimono Girls yet either. My team is rapidly changing because it wasn't performing as well as I wanted it to. I'm really annoyed at how many Pokemon that I want aren't available until National Dex. *sigh* Anyways, once I catch the rest of my new team, it's training time so I can get to the Elite 4.

Any opinions on this team?

Feraligatr (Water)
Jolteon (Electric)
Crobat (Flying/Poison)
Ambipom (Normal)
Forretress (Bug/Steel)
Gliscor (Ground/Flying)

I'm up for replacing that Gliscor if anybody knows of a better choice to round out the team.

I'm considering discarding 3 shiny Milotics (all cloned legits)...so if anyone wants a free shiny Milotic, let me know. In case anyone is curious about the info, well here it is:

Level: 5
EV's: None
IV's (HP/Atk/Def/Sp.Atk/Sp.Def/Spe): 31/30/31/31/31/27

Mirror Coat
Ice Beam
Surf
Toxic

Other notes: 100% legit, RNG abused, has Mirror Coat as egg move

Why am I discarding it? I only bred to obtain a shiny Feebas w/ HP electric, in which I ragequitted after so many attempts as of last year. Returned to breeding, and thus I succeeded. However, this Milotic above doesn't have HP electric.

Wait, how'd you get Gliscor before the National Dex? Did you trade a Razor Fang from another version?

That slight confusion aside, it's a fairly solid team, although if you want to replace something, I'd put an Arcanine or another Fire-type on.

I don't have a Gliscor, I was just sputing out planned team info, so it's unevolved right now. I actually forgot that I couldn't get the required item yet so maybe I'll trade him in for a fire type of some sort. Thanks for the advice on that one, I just wish I wasn't off limits from so many pokemon without the National Dex. I want my Bronzong and Flygor. =(

Yeah so, I got the idea to pick a game and do a giant series of challenges involving using a Pokemon team comprised of only one type (dual types allowed). Basically think Gym Leaders. Garlyle mentioned that Fire Red Omega (some rom hack involving all Pokemon?) would be best to do this with and I'll probably make Water my first run.
