Hi my strongest physical electric move has only 65 power.
Luxray actually sucked when I used him so I hate him.
Well, if you need an Electric attack, Haunter/Gengar or Clefable can use Thunderbolt fairly effectively.

Well, your choices at the moment seem to be Buizel and Magikarp, unless you want to grind a Bidoof or something.

Start with Chimchar, Fire-types are harder to find than Grass or Water in D/P/Pt.

The earliest Abra can be found is on Route 203 (just east of Jubilife). Gastly can be occasionally encountered in Eterna Forest, you're guaranteed to find one in the mansion you can access there after getting Cut. If you're willing to look you can have both Pok?mon before your second badge.

Sounds good.

Tentative team: Infernape, Alakazam, Gengar (all for sure), Gastrodon, Staraptor, ???

Staraptor's probably in, not so sure about the last two slots.  Need a water type (not enthusiastic about Gastrodon though), maybe a grass?

So I'm playing some Pokemon Heart Gold. This is some good stuff. WIth the help of Garlyle, I have probably the most random (planned) final team ever.

Feraligatr, Jumpluff, Yanmega, Girafarig, Jolteon, and Mamoswine

Let the lulz begin!

I had a Yanmega when I played Heart Gold.
It did nothing but spam Flash and SonicBoom.

It is random, but you have a lot of good selections on there. The Mamoswine looks like it will be very helpful against Lance.

And now Gastrodon has been replaced with a Gyarados and for some reason I have a Jolteon making funny noises at me in slot six.  Oh well.

Gyarados is awesome you can chuck 2-3 HM's on it and It can still kill things reliably assuming it got the Waterfall HM.

It also has some crazy moves availible like Thunder Wave

Gyarados is indeed awesome. I trained a Magikarp from the Pok?walker, I'm running Waterfall/Earthquake/Ice Fang/Dragon Dance. I probably should have kept Bounce on, but a) I don't like 2-turn moves and b) I feel Ice Fang has better type coverage.

And now for some reason I have a Scyther instead of the Jolteon.  The Jolteon is probably better balance for my team, but c'mon, it's a Scyther.

Chinchilla with Technician, most likely available near the start of the game. I know what I'm starting out with!!!
I love how immediately after they note Technician they note a multi-hit attack. Great stuff.

From the looks of it, I was kind of thinking that the Chinchilla was gonna be the mascot. It's so adorable!

Awesome I called it Reshiram is SR weak again but Ho-oh and Groudon get a new friend.

So far when I get Black I think i'll get that Crocodile and the Pidgeon because I always get the Normal/Flying Bird.

The Crocodile's could be very interesting competitively with that new ability.

It's an active case of pok?rus!  Wonderful.  Unfortunately, it was probably a cloned pok?mon because the trader in question wanted a Seadra.  Probably includes the ball as well.  Some other trade I picked up a Delibird captured in a master ball and, yeah.

Got tired of looking for a reasonable request for Salamence, so I put up a Garchomp and it comes just like that!  I didn't know it would increase the number of available trainers up to seven in a given search, which was wonderful as well.

Disappointed to receive a max revive for first prize in the drawing after picking up an exp. share for second place.  I guess it would be more useful than a bunch of exp. shares, but it doesn't sit right.

I would link to the original trading post, but editing is no longer possible so it gets moved here.

Request

-Lake trio (Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf)
  • Preferably untouched since their capture.
  • Preferably contained in a Net, Nest, or Dusk ball.
  • OT name should be appropriate.  Nothing strict, but I don't want a name like 'iiiiiii' to go with them.
  • Please rename them to their English names (all caps).

-Glaceon
  • I will supply the Eevee.
  • It does not matter which pokemon is defeated for the experience, but please defeat only one.  Just in case, please report the name of the pokemon defeated when transferring Glaceon back.

-Leafeon
  • Same as the above, but I'll be supplying a total of two Eevee because I can't decide on what gender it should be.

-Qualot Berry
-Tamato Berry

I'm looking for borrow an Arceus to trigger the Sinjoh Ruins event.  Unfortunately, I doubt there's anything I have capable of serving as collateral so it'll have to come down to trust (but of course you can suggest something like Kyogre, because I'm not giving it up otherwise).

There must be some personal pok?dex out there for you to create a list for others to refer to.  Here goes:

#151 (Mew)
#155 - 157 (Cyndaquil / Quilava / Typhlosion)
#251 (Celebi)
#255 - 257 (Torchic / Combusken / Blaziken)
#258 - 260 (Mudkip / Marshtomp / Swampert)
#318 - 319 (Carvanha / Sharpedo)
#320 - 321 (Wailmer / Wailord)
#328 - 330 (Trapinch / Vibrava / Flygon)
#331 - 332 Cacnea / Cacturne
#338 (Solrock)
#345 - 346 (Lileep / Cradily)
#351 (Castform)
#352 (Kecleon)
#357 (Tropius)
#377 (Regirock)
#378 (Regice)
#379 (Registeel)
#383 (Groudon)
#384 (Rayquaza)
#385 (Jirachi)
#386 (Deoxys)
#387 - 389 (Turtwig / Grotle / Torterra)
#390 - 392 (Chimchar / Monferno / Infernape)

#456 - 457 (Finneon / Lumineon)
#470 (Leafeon)
#471 (Glaceon)
#476 (Probopass)
#479 (Rotom)
#480 (Uxie)

#488 (Cresselia)
#489 (Phione)
#490 (Manaphy)
#491 (Darkrai)
#492 (Shaymin)
#492 (Arceus)

Sharing the pok?mon so it'll appear in the GTS is also appreciated.

Offers

If they're not listed under requests then they're available except for Kyogre, which will only be given out, not traded, if the player requests it (yeah, right) for collateral with the special Arceus request.

-Six female Eevee available (Bold, Careful, Naughty, Relaxed, Serious)

-Shiny Golem (Japanese...well, before it evolved)
-Shiny Gyarados
-Shiny Poliwrath (French)

The following Legendaries are untouched:

  • Ho-oh (Lv. 70, Naive)*
  • Latias (Hasty)
  • Lugia (Lv. 70, player's request)
  • Moltres (Hasty)
  • Mewtwo (Quirky)
  • Raikou (Rash)
  • Suicune (Relaxed)
  • Suicune (Brave)*

And for the ones that aren't:
  • Articuno (Lv. 57 (Jolly), EV distribution unknown)
  • Ho-oh (Lv. 100 (Hasty), EV distribution unknown)
  • Ho-oh (4K exp. into Lv. 70 (Docile), EV distribution unknown)*
  • Latias (Lv. 91 (Docile), EV distribution unknown)*
  • Moltres (5.5K exp. into Lv. 50 (Calm), EV distribution unknown)*
  • Suicune (Lv. 41 (Naive), EV distribution unknown)*
  • Suicune (Lv. 78 (Bold), EV distribution unknown)*
  • Zapdos (3K exp. into Lv. 50 (Mild), EV distribution unknown)
*Received in a trade.

-Pok?rus (obviously), but it should come with all traded pok?mon unless requested otherwise.

-Every evolutionary stone.
-Every evolution-inducing held item except for the Razor Fang and Razor Claw.
-Every incense (probably doesn't matter).
-Plenty of lucky eggs.
-Master Ball (as if anyone would want it).
-Various held enhancing items if you will ask for them.

PMs appreciated, if just to ask for specific stats or the ball the pokemon was captured in.

I love my Luxray. I even used him against the 8th Gym Leader's Luxray rather than throw out my Graveller because I was sure my guy would win (he didn't, GL got a critical).
