Soku - Simultaneous Buttons?

I was checking out player control settings, and there's this little option called 'Simultaneous Buttons' at the end. Anyone care to explain what this is for?

Also, just wondering, for anyone here plays 2-Player on the same computer: Do you guys ever feel like the controls are sometimes unresponsive? Especially for dash-attacks and specials.

My guess is question 2 answers question 1; your keyboard probably doesn't normally support all the key presses that occur when two people are playing on it at the same time, and simultaneous buttons might enable it.

That said, I've never noticed that option in my life.  Now I'm going to need to check.
