I'll have to reinstall Steam again, then.

Ah Well, maybe I'll get to play another Demo of Audiosurf again while I'm at it.

What's the record speed for beating Portal?  I know it's under 45 minutes, but I'm not sure on the exact time.

Also, if you use a FAQ or walkthrough to beat it, SHAMEIMARU ON YOU!  This game is waaaaay too easy for that kind of stuff.  It's nearly impossible to not know what to do.  Start thinking with portals.   :V

Best I know are the ones on SDA, so looks like 13:06 with scripts and glitches, 14:27with scripts but no glitches, 24:37 with no scripts: http://speeddemosarchive.com/Portal.html 's not really the sort of thing I actively follow, though, more the sort of thing I check out when bored, so it's possible any or all of them have been beaten.

Valve is the best video game developer. Seriously.

Please allow me to rephrase that sentence.

Valve Atlus is the best video game developer. Seriously.

But yeah, once played the demo and now I'm downloading it again. Just reinstalled Steam for it.

Played through it. It's a short game but always a classic. It's good to have it legally.

We then follow with Konami vs. Capcom.

Spoiler:
Speaking of Capcom, how do I get rid of the stupid black screen of death at the beginning of Devil May Cry 4 (PC)? Don't post it here, PM me please.

Team Sha- *shot*

Dammit, lunar dial'd!

On topic (more or less):

Beat 5/6 advanced maps now, but on advanced chamber 18 the second obstacle looks like a complete dead end to me. I'll take another look at it, but I have absolutely no idea how to get up there.
And no, don't tell me how to do it, that would take away the fun.  :3

Also, I want an advanced chamber 19! *sniff*

Capcom lost when they started putting locked content onto the discs of pretty much all their games or in the downloads for their downloadable games then started charging for unlock keys. Screw them.

Atlus is great though. Cave is okay too, well for some of their games, but not most. Team Shanghai Alice is kind of cheating though.

Konami beats out Capcom because they can convince hundreds of thousands of people to buy/play the same game many times with different songs and UI. :V

...Anyway, I should probably play Portal now, it's been sitting in my steam account for months. :S

Meh, portal wasn't very memorable for a game. Progress hit a brick wall on the companion cube test chamber so hard I had to use a guide

but I liked the levels before GLaDOS which didn't feel so controlled.

Ha ha, old chap!, no.

1. I don't have money
2. I don't like First person games because they are confusing, unrealistic, and a bother to control at all, let alone properly.
3. I'd rather play Monster Hunter

There are lots of points in the game where I was stuck not because I can't think properly, but because there's no damn way to tell which way is the right direction in portal. Especially in the last part.

lol, no.

It's only $20, and Valve sometimes has sales where you could get the game for less than $3.  Seriously:

Quote
Remember yesterday when Team Fortress 2 was on sale for the ridiculous, mathematically-basically-zero price of $2.49? According to the bean counters, we're now broke. Man, what were we thinking? Anyway, in a desperate attempt to move some units, make up the shortfall, and save the company, TEAM FORTRESS 2 IS ON SALE FOR $2.50 UNTIL 7PM PDT! Pennies from Heaven!

"Gee," you may be thinking, "I already bought a copy."

Well, sure, but did you buy extra copies to give away as holiday gifts? Because - thanks to Steam's gifting system - you totally can.

Here's the best part: You can buy a bunch of copies now for $2.50, then when your grandparents unwrap them on Christmas morning, TF2 will be selling for $19.99 again. They'll think you spent almost 700% more than you actually did! It's like you're stealing from us and lying to your grandparents! It's the perfect crime!

And because we're so crazy, for all we know, by the time December rolls around, we might be selling Team Fortress 2 for six hundred bucks. Or more! Who knows? OH MY GOD GO BUY SOME PRESENTS!

And TF2 isn't supposed to be realistic.  And who cares if you can't aim?  You could play the Medic.  Or the Engineer.  Or the Heavy.  *insert sarcastic comments about the Demo and Soldier*
Cheating? I cannot even wrap my head around the point of it. Wouldn't you know you had cheated? How on Earth could you maintain crisp certainty of your superiority to all others? And if you're unable to do that, what's the point of anything?
