Oh well, according to this picture, she will become a fine Youkai magician for sure if she does. But growing up though, how many more Touhou girls are actually in the progress of "growing up" in terms of visual and appearance. Because according to ZUN some are quite damn old (Yukari & Tewi). And what would actually become of their personality and appearance?

For example, I wonder if Marisa would stop stealing books and drop her "boyish" speech style. Looking at the picture above, she probably will. Especially being such a fine lady. Though Marisa is just one example. What about the others? Will the girls grow up? Will Reimu stop being a lazy mean shrine maiden? Will Nazrin become less sassy?

As for characters other than Reimu and Marisa I can't think of many off the top of my head that will age. In the cases of Sakuya, Sanae and Youmu they are supposedly mortal but all have dubious lifespans. Satori's age is a big question mark with her and her pet's being the biggest possibility other than the main characters.

As for Nazrin she is over a thousand years old; she was assigned to watch over Shou when Shou was made guardian of Byakuren's old temple.

I think Reimu will become a lot calmer and more dutiful with age, and less prone of making wild assumptions. I can easily imagine her as wise and knowledgeable when she becomes adult. A good example would be The End of Maiden's Illusion, where Reimu shows that she has become humble, wise and caring in her lifetime. She even gets the offer of becoming a Celestial once she crosses the Sanzu River. You got to have grown into a wonderful person if that is the case.

Personally, I'd like Reimu to be like she is now.
Even after her death, I can see her haunting her shrine to scare unsuspecting visitors in to "donating" things.

As I have been educated on in the Yukari = Maribel thread, Sanae being a 'demi-goddess' doesn't guarantee eternal youth. She could use her miracle powers to still look bombshell even when she ages beyond 50, but eventually she would die of age. Don't mourn however, since being a demi-goddess/a living god does guarantee you to turn into a full-fledged god upon death. THEN she will look young and beautiful forever and ever.

I think it was stated somewhere that anyone who messes around with magic is bound to become a youkai eventually. Marisa was trained by a youkai, lives around youkai, and all her non-miko friends are youkai, so I would say the outcome there will be pretty obvious. It's just a question of how long it takes. (I strongly doubt the series will advance far enough chronologically to see it, but yes seeing Marisa hit boobinite tier would really be something.)

Anyway, only the humans are subject to aging, and offhand I think there are like, maybe four pure humans? Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, and Akyu. Marisa will be the demons sooner or later, Sakuya's origin is still up in the air (though she insists she is a normal human, she should be aging very quickly due to spending so much extra time in a day compared to everyone else, doesn't seem to be the case), and Akyu won't live long enough to see old age anyway.

As for the half-breeds:
Alice - was a human, so she aged from her PC-98 incarnation, but is a youkai now.
Sanae - She's aged normally up til now but her half-god side is presenting itself more and it might stop her from aging.
Rinnosuke - Confirmed to be aging slowly
Keine - Age never stated, but probably going at a rate similar to Rinnosuke (if not slower, she might be very ancient, given her status).
Youmu - Human side seems to be aging normally, but Youki is at least 300 years old, so at the very least her life(death?)span is extended.
Mokou - hurr

So really, the only one that's guaranteed to get significantly older looking is, ironically, Reimu.

Same...she doesn't even look like a witch. I like the witch thing. I don't think the revealing thing is as bad as the total lack of witch hat, poofy skirt, etc. But the revealing clothes in general just don't seem to suit her.
