>The papers are not of a familiar style to you, but you are able to find some information that mirrors what Nitori had to say, as well as a list of things that need work.

>It is maybe twenty til three. You don't have a clock to check.
>You did make a sketch of the forest from the map at Usami Investigations. It noted three possible locations of the Shrine. Not too far from the fields to the south, another due east, and another northeast near the base of the mountain.

> Head due east

>You head eastward!
>Soon you leave the city behind, and head into the forest. You almost never do this. The sounds of civilized life leave you behind, quickly being replaced by a sort of weird silence. No, not exactly silence. You can hear leaves rustling, strange trilling insect calls that you do not recognize, and other sounds you really cannot name. It is shady and cool under the leaves, with a faint trace of pollen and the smell of earth in the air. Light cuts through the forest here and there, pooling on the ground. Up ahead, you can see the flora gets thicker, and less light gets through. Obvious exits are North, East, West, and South

>It sounds like the higher ups of the City have something against her for some reason. Are they plotting something? Or is it someone who's in good with them doing it? Come to think of it, didn't that Tenma guy go to those Feasts they have at the Moriya Shrine?

>Think while walking, head east again.

>Man, that would be something! You're not sure if Tenma was mentioned going to those feasts, but it's not a long walk to the Moriya Shrine from City Hall.
>You ponder these things while heading deeper into the forest. It grows gloomier as you move onwards, you have to let your eyes adjust. The foliage is thicker here, and it takes you longer to pick your way through. It becomes virtually impenetrable up ahead. There are more insect noises here, you don't recognize many of them. You also see some mushrooms (or maybe toadstools?) poking out from the plantlife here and again. There some rather pretty flowers dotting the forest floor. Obvious exits are North, East, and West
>While looking around, you freeze up as you see a bit of motion on the ground. Oh god, it's a snake! You stare in fascination, you've never actually seen a snake before. It's about as long as your arm, with a scales of pale green. It pays you little mind as it slithers eastward, vanishing into the thick underbrush.

>You head northward
>The forest here is still gloomy and alien to your city-honed sensibilities, but you note there are more flowers blooming here, making it look rather inviting. Bees flit about between them, while the smell of pollen hangs heavily in the air. To the north, the forest seems to thin a little, while you can spy a path leading further east. Obvious exits are North, South, and East

>FOLLOW THAT PATH

>You head further east.
>The path is pretty narrow, you're starting to think that it wasn't people who made it, as it is pretty hard to follow, but some sort of animal. Still, you are able to pick your way through the forest without too much trouble, and make your way deeper in before the path ends at a stream. The stream is not very large and doesn't seem very deep, but it does have a lot of thick plant life around it. The foliage clears a little to the south, allowing for easy transgress. And...you think you see something in the gloom to the east. Obvious exists are West and South
