You all do realize that was probably Remilia or Sakuya, right?
>Would we recognize Remilia or Sakuya on sight?

>Governor Scarlet, you would recognize instantly. Her face tends to be in the news and such fairly often.  The website you examined had a picture of a Sakuya, but you don't know it as well. You think you might recognize her, though.

>Go back to crime scene so we can chat with gray-haired woman.

>You go back to the scene. Only a minute or so has passed, nothing's changed.

pretty sure it's Nazrin guys

> Tell Miss Grey-hair that you'd like to do anything  you can to assist the investigation
> ask if she knows anyone who might have done it, perhaps any enemies

>Ask this in proper tone so that she doesn't go "oh shyt random stranger wtf are you doing this for"

>Before she gets potentially wary of us, casually look her clothing to see anything that could help us identify her occupation & identity etc.
>If she accepts our proposal to help: Ask where the packages are from, where the packages were headed, when the packages arrived at the warehouse, contents of the package.

>"Why?" she asks, not bothering to look away from the police combing the crime scene.
>That suit is really fine-looking. Admittedly, you don't get to see them very often so you wouldn't know for sure, but this one looks pretty expensive to you. You really can't tell anything about where she works or who she is, though.

>Is Nitori qualified to check Miss Hieda's house?
>If the grey-haired woman ends up leaving instead of talking to us, ask the bystanders who that woman was.

>You don't actually know, but she seems to be able to do pretty much anything construction-related. If she can't, you bet she knows someone who can.
>She's not left so far, but you suspect she's finding you to be kind of annoying.

> Question is, why are we helping random strangers off the street when we have things closer to home to worry about?
> That said: where would Commissioner Tenma be likely to be found during work hours?

>That is a question to consider.
>Probably around City Hall.

To Other Voices:
[Current Completion List]
X MAD MART
_ DOWNTOWN
_ HARBOR
_ UPTOWN/pawnshop/Nitori's
_ PARK
_ OUTSKIRTS
_ UNIVERSITY DISTRICT
_ AIRPORT
_ INDUSTRIAL PARK

So should we cut our losses and go to Uptown to pick up some firepower (pawnshop) and inform Nitori? I don't think we have enough leverage to do anything here, though having victim of the thievery right here IS pretty handsome opportunity we can't miss. Don't know, if there is good negotiator who is confident of weaseling out information, try to have a shot at it but otherwise we think we did most of the things we could do.

>You glance around the harbor while grasping for an answer.
>You quickly realize you don't know what military ships look like. Well, you'd know an aircraft carrier, and maybe a destroyer. But you are pretty sure there would be more than that, right? You don't see any of the ones you'd recognize, at least.

>"...Huh," says the gray-haired woman. "I'll give you some points for a unique approach. Most time when people want a piece of me, they try to come up with something beforehand. Look, I'll be honest, I don't need any junior detectives getting in my business. Especially not now when I'm on a short fuse.  So don't go poking around crime scenes, it just makes you look like you're either a dope or involved. Alright? But I'll tell you what, if you've got problems, go talk with one of the shrines around town. You'll find a sympathetic ear."

>You know of one, it's kind of a tourist trap from what you hear. You've never bothered with it.
>"Eh," The gray-haired woman shrugs. "Some people didn't want to give up the old ultra-nationalism, I guess, and brought it with 'em. Don't ask me, I wasn't part of it. Anyways, there's a new place, though. On the outskirts, by the bridge."

>Board the bus and make your exit when bus reaches the uptown.
>Rage at how your last bus passed the downtown bus station in its way to the harbor.

>You board the bus, and practically have it to yourself. You spend a bit more time with your textbooks, old things are coming a bit more easily now.
>It's annoying, but you should be able to catch another line from Uptown.
>You leave the bus, and find yourself Uptown. This is one of the better parts of the island, the buildings are all well built and well maintained, if in a riot of clashing styles. Small skyscrapers share space with old flat-style buildings and more normal-sized stores. Thre are a couple people on the streets, hurrying along and not looking your way at all. You can't help but wonder if they even recognize you are there? You can see Nitori's Heating and Air down the street to the east, with its distinctive van parallel parked out front. To the west are a number of office buildings. Down the street to the north, you can see the pawn shop. To the south is a strip center with a couple of restaurants.  Obvious Exits are North, South, East, and West.

So the consensus is no weapons, right? I visited the pawnshop first because I was not sure if we had time to do so after talking to Nitori.

>Go to pawnshop
>Greet owner
>Ask him for any interesting rumours going around
>Examine items being sold
>Check your current financial status

>You head north, toward the pawn shop, and enter it.
>A bell on the door rings as you enter. The pawn shop is fairly spacious, with all sorts of junk on display in cases, shelves, and racks. You quickly notice all the windows are barred. The lights are kind of dim, giving this place a dingy look. You can hear an air conditioner humming from the back room; sounds like it's working fine! The owner, a white-haired man with glasses, looks up at you as you enter, you think he was resting his head on the counter. A large sign behind him says: "We accept currency from: United States, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, South Korea, Russia." It is written in English, Japanese, and a few other languages. You notice Russia was added in by hand.
>"'Lo," he says through a yawn.
>"Do you take me for a barkeeper?" he asks, as he checks something on his computer.
