My biggest issue with the genre is the fact that they are team games. But feature people who aren't really team players, and spend more time yelling at each other, blaming others, etc, than actually shutting up and playing. Even if you join a newbie game, people yell at you for not magically knowing that the enemy hero can grab you thru the forest, or nuke you for 400 when you're in your base (and they aren't), or stun you for 5 seconds, or leech all your mana, or, or ,or.. I mean it's basically impossible to know the dangers and counters of 100+ heroes moves as a new person, yet you're a fucking nubtard omg what a scrub if you don't.
The funny thing is the same people that yell at you for not knowing what the enemy is capable of seem equally unable to comprehend what you're capable of as an ally. One time I had someone ragequit because I didn't "help" him fight these 2 guys by hexing one of them...The thing is I *DID* hex one of them, and after it wore off he kept fighting. Apparently hex has no cooldown...Right.
Seems like every time I help an ally stupidly charge a buncha enemies they bail and I die for trying to help (when I didn't want to in the firs tplace knowing I'd probably die). And every time I don't help knowing it's a lost cause, it's my fault the fight was lost.
Funny thing is nobody ever complains about how bad I (or anybody else on my team) is when we're winning. But it's everyone's fault but theirs when they're losing >=P.
I think the game would be cooler if there was an option for more teams than just 2.
