@ Stuffman: The hair doesn't seem to blend in with the forehead very well. The outline of the hair kind of stands out against the head, even. Also, the shading on the cheek next to the sideburns seems kinda blocky. Other than that, though, it's really neat. Gj.

Stuffs' portrait work is hell yes.

As for my guy's portrait: large head (within reason), scruffy beard-and-mustache thing - not long, but certainly thick. Shock of dark brown hair, also scruffy, nearly covering the eyes, going into a ponytail at the back. Lots of armour, approximately where the Hero sprite has it - white plate mail with red cloak.

Val convinced me to join as well. I'll sign up to be a Cleric then, since it seems there is a lack of them and I usually play healing/support classes anyway. What do you need from me as well?

Alright, did the stat calculator thing, using Lucius as a template with minor tweaks.

Lv 1 Stats:

HP: 18
Mag: 6
Skl: 5
Spd: 9
Lck: 2
Def: 1
Res: 5

Growths:

Hp: 55%
Mag: 50%
Skl: 55%
Spd: 45%
Lck: 25%
Def: 10%

As for story, I wouldn't mind tagging along as Ruro's sidekick/personal cleric :3

As I said before I'd like for the Librarians to appear as a group of enemies. With Ruro, Chaore and Tylt already having a character each, that leaves five of us, unless some decide to have an own playable character later.
I'd say they should be some kind of mages, as Trance suggested, except maybe for Roukanken (Myrmidon maybe?). If needed, one or two might be recruitable, of course by being talked to by Ruro (if so, I'd of course like Sakana to be the, or one of the, recruitable(s)  :3 )

So, which info should I provide for the Librarians? If stats are needed, I have no idea how to do them, so I'd appreciate any help there.

Plotwise, maybe the party needs to get a certain magical tome at some point and has to raid the Library for it?

Hmm, personality traits as well then?

Weeelll, how about foolish bumbling person that follows orders as needed, doesn't really get annoyed by much and rarely shows any sort of negative emotions. Always willing to fight and doesn't worry too much about the risks at hand.

Pretty simple and effective character I'd say.

Unfortunately, I don't really feel like being a Knight.  A Wyvern Knight, on the other hand...

Yeah, I did the stats assuming a mage -> sage I believe. so that works in with the whole "we need more mages" thing.
I can settle for an archer if we need them though.
