Reisen Quest Til The End: A Z-Machine Adventure

Dropping this in here because (a) I need to catch up, (b) this was an important sidequest that I think we still need to deal with (and should probably be our top priority, though I'll admit I don't know a lot of the details of what's gone on, all I know is that we escaped ImaginationLand and blowed up the stapparition in real life), and (c) it's 3:30 AM and I have to go to work in 5 hours. I will catch up with what has happened since I posted last when I next have free time, which will likely be tomorrow afternoon, but I want this out there in case the opportunity presents itself before I'm fully caught up. (Don't cut your current investigation with Byakuren short on my account (and don't forget to invite her and her crew to our festivities), but do try to keep in mind that we don't have much time left.)

[03:13:38] <Kilgamyon> I'd like to get Reisen a bit more knowledge on exactly what Patchy did, and I would like to do it with Eirin, Kaguya and Yorihime present.

[03:14:40] <Kilgamyon> After that, I think we can work a deal out with Patchy to make sure she doesn't do something like that again, with the warning that, should Yorihime need to come down and choke a bitch a second time, we may not be there to help.
[03:16:12] <Kilgamyon> Once Patchy has been "pacified", Yorihime can go home with tales of not only subduing the threat, but doing it with the assistance (and possibly blessing, if we can wrangle nifty words into her story) of the Princess and the Sage currently exiled on Terra.
[03:17:28] <Kilgamyon> Since I remember someone (maybe Eirin or Kaguya) mentioning that Yorihime would lose more standing if it was revealed that Eientei worked against her, it stands to reason she could gain standing if it was revealed that Eientei helped her.
[03:17:52] <Kilgamyon> Sparring match notwithstanding, but the public doesn't need to know about that.
[03:18:28] <Kilgamyon> Hell, we can throw in that Yorihime helped the traitor rabbit (or whatever we are) subdue a SECOND potential horror.

I have a few general ideas on how to make this work but I need to know the current environment before I could propose anything specific. I trust you guys will use this info well anyway, if the opportunity presents itself.

>Finding little left to be done, you head back to Eientei, hurrying as much as you can. The wolf trots along behind you. Upon reaching the bamboo forest, you see a number of guide rabbits have been posted to help the guests find their way. You don't linger long enough to exchange pleasantries, but a few of them give you a nod, a wave, or some word of greeting.
>Arriving at Eientei, you hear it bustling with activity. Various people roam the halls, some of whom you don't recognize, while podiums and stands with Lunarian artifacts have been set out for people to admire. Rabbits put at key locations keep a steely eye for thieves. The sounds of conversation and laughter are everywhere.

>Sliding the door open, you find the master bedroom to be mercifully quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of the halls. You've not been in here many times, mostly when assisting with cleaning duties. But you're familiar enough with it: the large canopied bed in the corner, the elaborated painted folding screens, the line of wardrobes by the walk-in closet. All sort of pictures and wall scrolls decorate the walls, many of them priceless treasures from eras gone by.  You see Yorihime sitting on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She glances over at you.

>You see Kaguya in the hall leading toward Eiren's office, talking with a couple of amused-looking oni. You imagine she'll be going through the halls and talking with the guests until it is time for the play.
