2. How in ze hell do you dodge Sanae's laser attack?
It's aimed at you, so just jump above her then fly diagonally down as it fires.

First two times I tried this game, it felt awkward. Couldn't get past midboss. On my third attempt I used the keyboard of my laptop instead of Xbox 360 controller. It felt a lot better and I beat the demo with ease. Weird... Also, there seems to be no fullscreen but at least you can expand the window by dragging its' corner. But if this is MMX clone, shouldn't there be something equivalent of the 8 Robot Masters? 8 strange mutated Touhou characters? Or even worse, Yukkuris? (no Alice yukkuri, I beg)

Well Megaman X games typically have a first boss before you can fight the 8 robot masters, and in this game after you beat the boss you
Spoiler:
fall to earth
where presumably there will be 8 mutant masters or something.

Well, the demo had a fairly disturbing Sanae boss, right?
<mauvecow> see this is how evil works in reality, it just wears you down with bureaucracy until you don't care anymore

Indeed. That probably was the introduction stage  (and a very hard one), but otherwise the "Mutant Masters" probably aren't that big. I have beaten X4 and X5...and this game looks very promising. Maybe it'll be better than any the MMX games, like MegaMari was better than any of the original Megamen. And MM3 was the worst IMO.

No Way. That's like saying "SoEW is best of all Touhou games". I mean, MM3 is just about bad design. EVERYWHERE. Most stages and bosses are stupidly designed (especially Wily castle), very stupid weapons (Top Spin?!) and the last boss is a really bad joke. Yes, you get to fight MM2's bosses again, but that just adds the feeling that the game was made in quite a hurry. Oh yeah, Rush and Protoman made their debut, but still...and I have beaten that freakin' game three times, so I think I know what I'm blabbing about. GODDAMN OOPS this is not the place to start trol-ranting about Megaman games? What have I done...

*Random post*

Seems there was an update to .22B. Head to the download section here for a patch released today in Japan.

Anyway I can't play it so I won't be able to enjoy it. Get an error saying "Error: Cannot Open the Resource" so.

The patch says ver 0.22, however the demo version (at least the one I have) is version 0.31, so I don't think that's actually a new patch
