Aya Andrew - 40,177,523 - ALL - Screenshot After seeing some recent interest in photo game scoring lately, I decided to join in on the fun. Been improving my scores for the past few days, and decided to submit this here now that I've broken 40mil. Will be going through some of the remaining scenes I haven't redone yet or are still easy for me to improve, and may or may not go for 50mil. Andrew - 47,522,768 - ALL - Screenshot 7th place, at least for now. Over 2 million of this improvement came from EX-9. Now to look for more scenes to boost my total score with. 50mil should be pretty doable. I'm sure I'll be able to find that last 2.5mil somewhere. Andrew - 50,106,364 - ALL - Screenshot And I've reached my goal now. Got 50mil last night, but decided to improve a bit more so I could claim 6th. This time, the biggest contribution came from 10-7, which I improved from under 1m to 2.2m. Most of my scenes have been redone now, but there's still a few I haven't touched since I cleared, like 9-7 and 10-8, because I suck too much at dodging to improve those scores. I could try and beat nintendonut's score at some point, but 50mil is good enough for now. |

Aya Andrew - 51,471,509 - ALL - Screenshot Getting back into this game again. Gonna try to improve my total score to 60-70m in between my Lunatic 1cc attempts. Also gonna try to go for some decent scores on my favourite scenes. 8-3 is my favourite so far. I was dying quite a bit and getting a lot of crappy photos under 450K for awhile, but after around 500 shots of using the 3rd place royalflare strat, I improved from 1.7m-2.5m. Good enough for now, but I would like to go for 2.6-2.7m eventually. Just need more consistent 500K+ shots. Maybe I'll aim even higher if I can ever at least occasionally get a 600k+ shot like the world record gets. It's taking awhile, but I'm slowly getting better at herding the fairies in this scene. |

Aya Andrew - 53,639,672 - ALL - Screenshot After yet another hiatus from Touhou, I've resumed playing this game once again. A few other scores were improved but 8-3 is the one I'm most happy with. Managed to take a royalflare triangle from chum. The main reason why I like 8-3 is because it has a puzzle element to it. The more I understand this scene, the better I become at herding the fairies into the best composition possible for the most amount of points, and the better I get at surviving and minimizing dangerous situations. With my current strat, and I can get 550k shots pretty regularly if everything goes right, and even a bad photo is rarely below 500k anymore. I also die less often than I used to. There are a couple things I found annoying though: 1. Orin's hitbox is bigger than her sprite. Lost a 2.7m pace run earlier because I got killed by empty space above her wheelbarrow. I've had that happen in ISC and I've heard that other bosses in this game have that problem too. 2. When Orin moves she would sometimes ram into me. Although this is less likely to happen as long as you don't get too close to her hitbox and dash away right after taking your photo. I die to that less often now. 3. With bad rng, the fairies can spread out into pretty nasty patterns sometimes, but so far I haven't encountered anything truly impossible. Perhaps I'll go for a decent Hatate score at some point, and a royalflare diamond in the Aya category if I can pull off Hiatus' 600k photo strats, but until then, I'm pretty happy with this. Some other Double Spoiler scenes I like are 8-1, 9-6 and 12-8, so I'll try to go for decent scores in those ones too. |
