Is there any possible way you can redo this scene on a better computer?

Not really tbh. My laptop's easily the best computer in the house, and I don't have easy access to a better computer I can put StB2 on. I'm not working on improving my score at the moment anyway, so maybe when I get back to scoring I'll have access to a better one.

Dunno if you saw it, but I did actually include the replay in that earlier post.

Interesting distribution of scores. Well, here begins my creeping up the leaderboard!

1 WR standing. Many other outstanding scores. And by that I mean like, 10.
It's also good to see some familiar names surface; LET for one. mille (Pixiv account required) is also a pretty awesome player it seems (and an awesome artist  <3).

Moving off further to the side, the names some of the Japanese(?) players use are... pretty weird at times. For example:

That's enough of a rant I'll stop here. Derp.
Honest. Well, until I get a huge increase in score that is, (45mil should be a good enough stepping stone at this point; yes a stepping stone, it's just a tiny hop for me after all).
Checkpoint.

On a quick glance; it would be theoretically possible to get about 385k on 5-2. Just saying.
Uguu~. I don't know the inner workings of 5-3. Oh well, the form is what matters at this point.

I believe I still have ~25 million potential points left, if not more. However, the problem is emulating these superplays. Something like 2-1 is giving me loads of trouble; trying to dodge from that close is well and truly beyond my ability at this point. Anything that crosses over also gives me difficulty, 2-5 is another example and I had to compromise 100k at this point because I can't dodge it very well. Either that, or there's a nifty little trick that I'm not seeing (both 2-1 and 2-5). Even something as "intimidating" as 7-7 is "easy" to score in once you realize the "trick" to it. Speaking of "tricks", I've found a way to get consistent 500k shots for 10-7. Potentially, it looks like it can stand to go up to 3.2mil at minimum. 3.5mil might be possible, but I would need to do further testing.

You'll also note that my score increase is rather small at the moment, this would be because I'm slowly working my way "up". Currently sitting on 5-x and working on those scenes; I might even go back to some of the older ones again to see if I can touch them up. Also, it seems that I apparently had more WR scores than I originally thought; but I never saved the replays thinking that they weren't good enough. It would seem I'm underestimating my own skills here.

And finally, most of those Nice Shots are damn red herrings to score. While also on that, the little tip from a certain player with regard to scoring on 8-2 made me laugh hysterically. Oh, and at this point, 5 submitted WRs (all can be beaten rather easily, save for 2... I think). One sitting at 2nd place because I fail and score a few hundred points less. On the side, HECATE submits, everybody loses  :V
Looks like there's some pretty solid competition going now. And I feel so overjoyed competing at various points, or even doing my little part in this and pushing various scores higher. Or just providing competition. Actually, regarding SP-4 (the Scene where I which I went crazy on), I think I can probably bump it up to 930k with little difficulty now that I've learnt a method of taking close-quarter photos. The macro bonus (+~600 in this case) when multiplied by the various bonuses gives us a total of
~3500 points. Per photo. But, assuming trade-off calculations, this is reduced to about 2k per photo. That's still 14k all up. Might be worth a try later. Then again, it's only a small amount.

It'd be nice to see some more submitted scores here. Should it really matter that you don't have all 108 or 99 Scenes cleared yet? No, it shouldn't. Submitting is conveying a message like "I'm proud of what I've done so far, so here are my results for everybody to see.". By not submitting, you're simply showing me the converse; that you're not really proud of your own skills, effort that you put in, or are just plain intimidated by these "awesome" scores everybody else submits.

Also, I'll crosspost the scores when I'm through learning UFO back-to-front and done everything for Hard. Makes it easier that way.

...wow, letting my thoughts just flow out feels really satisfying.

とりあえず。

I should probably mention that some of the replays are over 5%. For unknown reasons, performance seems to have taken a hit for me recently. It sometimes takes 1-2 seconds for a shot to finally register, which really bumps up slow rate. I suspect it has something to do with vsync, since it doesn't happen in windowed mode, but in windowed mode I seem to get a default slow rate of >6% regardless. Not to mention the extended windowed modes look like shit with my laptop's shitty scaling. I might put further scoring on hold until a vsync patch for DS comes out that hopefully fixes this issue, as it's really frustrating to get a high score only to find out slow rate was pushed just over 5%. I don't seem to be the only one with this problem either, judging from some of the comments and slow rates on royalflare.

EDIT: Now I feel stupid. Turns out processor performance in my laptop's power settings had somehow set itself to 50%. Now, while the 'pausing' issue still persists, the resulting slow rate is always well below the 5% boundary.

More like beyond human ability. I don't know, but my gut feeling immediately screamed TAS at that 300k replay. The movement just seemed too mechanical to be legit to me. The fact that it's the user's only submitted score makes it a bit suspicious as well.
Chaotic Phoenixma:
I have 284,418 on 2-1 with Hatate, so I could see that being possible with her. With Aya's charge speed though, I'm nowhere near that on the scene.

Also,

Hatate
Enigma- 2,646,243 -17

Aya
Enigma- 13,729,483- 69

Not exactly high scores, but I obviously haven't played enough yet. I still need to clear a lot of scenes.
LHCling:
Aya's (Angle Bonus) multiplier unfortunately doesn't allow for anything really above... 250k I guess. Unless you're getting in real close *cough*. WR with Hatate sits at ~380k.

Oh, and thanks for submitting to add to the activity Enigma.

I had the initial feeling as well, but let it go because I believed that it was just RNG shenanigans. However, upon a bit more trial and error, I was only able to get in that close for the first 2 shots at least once. Once out of about 100 attempts or so.

Looking back at it, I'm starting to think it may as well be TAS, for the reasons listed and being the user's only submitted replay (which was pointed out already).

I uhh... missed the last shot. And messed up 2 shots. However, most of it was balanced with RNG shenanigans and 77k shots. Slowly moving through sequentially~
Diminishing returns here (considering that I tried to actively score in these scenes upon first seeing them). I also upped my 2-1 score to 205k. Forgot to save a replay of that though  :derp:
Going out of order a bit. I'm somewhat disappointed by some of the shots; there's a bit more room. Oh well, the idea makes it easy enough.

Right I should stop spamming updates like this and set another milestone. Let's say 57mil.
EDIT:

I personally think it's related to your current OS. Because my PC is really sub-standard compared to these other top-of-the-line ones that I'm seeing around, and I'm getting 0% slowdown (normally). The only time this number starts spiking up is when I alt-tab quickly to an IRC window to pull a one-liner while not pausing  :V

Also, lgb there's a random "1" next to Sapz's Screenshot for the Aya.
