You mean C&C3, right?  RA3's new faction was GLORIOUS NIPPON Japan.

I have to admit, I didn't play the games for a long time, but eventually started playing the "second generation" with people (Tiberian Sun/Firestorm, Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge, Renegade, Generals).  The third generation I can't run, but I have gotten to mess around a bit on Red Alert 3 and it seems decently fun.

Firestorm's decently fun, but it feels like nothing is capable of doing any decent damage except Disruptors which are just some complete and utter bullshit (In the bad way).  I do like being able to watch the reactions on my friends when they realise that my base is literally a fourth of the entire map, just completely stealthed so they have no idea.

Yuri's Revenge is just plain bloody awesome because Yuri is, well, awesome (Just as much as Kane, to me).  Each of the factions is capable of so much bullshit (In the good way) and counter-bullshit.  This one's my favourite.

Renegade I played online for a little bit with a friend's server, and did have some fun, but I was never very good (Except for the one time I snuck a Stealth Tank right into GDI's base, dismounted, and took out their refinery with an Ion Cannon beacon like 2 minutes into the match)

Generals is decently fun, but I have to say that I agree with my buds on one aspect: The game feels really unbalanced to me.  Firestorm and Yuri's Revenge I find really balanced and that any faction is very capable of winning in the right hands; with Generals, it feels more like "If America's being played, they win".  Maybe I just haven't played it enough yet.
(I also feel like mentioning that C&C is the first series of competitive RTS games I've seriously played.  My understanding of things like balance may be a little skewed)

I don't mind CnC4 is different than its predecessor. I really interested in Tiberium saga,  especially Kane and Brotherhood of NOD.

Although some of us complaining how bad it was, but I'm still want to give it a shot.

Idle question: When I say Mammoth Tank, do you think about the GDI mainstay ultimate tank, Tiberian Sun's Mammoth Mk II AT-AT Walker, or do you think of RA3's literal Mammoth?
Let's Play: BIT.TRIP FLUX | Let's Play: Malicious | Skyward Sword: Shieldless Final Boss | Skyward Sword: Boss Rush! | Ace Combat Infinity: Campaign in the X-02 Wyvern

The classic "two turrets and a crapload of rocket launchers and can be flanked to death by Recon Bikes" Mammoth Tank. I assume you're talking about EA's April Fool's joke when you mention the RA3 Mammoth.

Yeah.  That little joke.

As an aside, Nod Campaign Complete.  I suppose the ending might make more sense if I actually played Tiberium Wars.
