Then you realize the shadow is comes from the way your light passes over the outcroppings. Looking around, you can see a few spots where the shadows on the cavern wall give the impression of monsters of various kinds. You note a couple of the stalagmites seem to have old blood on them. Obvious exits are Northwest, North, and Southeast.
