I agree with Muffin about the mechanics of things being worked out here. Nice to see some thought go into that without it bogging down the story. Moves at a really nice pace, too.

I'd glare at you sternly for this, if it weren't for the fact that I never post anywhere on Poolsh except for the fiction thread, and there only once in a long while. Heck I was considering not posting in this thread until I had an ending ready, until I realized that the ending was going to be out of place no matter what I do.... Maybe I could edit it into the last post after a little while so that people randomly wandering into the thread will have it all in one nice big lump.

Actually I worried a little with this one because I was making so much up from whole cloth, but with Makai you really have to because there's nothing to extrapolate from. I'm glad people found them entertaining

You may be pleased (or displeased) to know I have no intention of settling the Koa, Patchy, Marisa, Alice love polyhedron mess in any of my main stories. This is for a wide variety of reasons not the least of which being that would mean I'd have to choose.
Anyway I'm almost done with this story, but I feel I'm rushing it a bit too much, so I'm going to let it simmer a little more before I post the rest.
