Sorry for weird title, it's kinda hard to explain. Some fangames I want to run using applocal, and so I right-click them, Instead of getting a menu saying "open,print,edit,scan,applocal, etc,properties'...I just get the hourglass cursor for like a full minute (really, it's pretty long), and...then my computer forgets wtf it was doing and I never get the opportunity to run applocal. This ONLY happens with certain Japanese doujin games (none of the canon Touhou games, but some of the fan ones).
First it happened with labyrinth of Touhou, which is weird, before it would work, it would just take progressively longer and longer for that menu to appear, until finally it just gave me the error above (took too long). Now I have it with the aquastyle game. I had it for some other non-touhou doujin game too but I've since dumped it and don't remember which it was.
I got windows xp.
Anybody know what my problem is and how to fix it possibly? I can right click other files fine.
