Actually, I've been waiting for you. :S You're the one person I'm highly willing to make an exception for, precisely because you've read like every fic here ever. Consider yourself recruited, Esifex.

I just got blindsided by a bio assignment that's going to eat up all my time tonight, so I'll post this publicly and get it out of the way so Sakana can see this when he wakes up and organize you accordingly.

Summary guidelines:

For a short fic, one or two sentences, maybe three. For a medium-sized fic, three to five. For one of the scary epic tales (White Rose, Flame of the Undying Fortitude, Any UD Fic Ever), five or six.

However, it's really up to you how wordy they should be. As long as your summary gets the general idea of the fic, it's all cool.

Except I already did something stupid and wrote up summaries for a couple of stories because I misread the post and didn't realize I was supposed to be assigned stories to read (and write summaries about) instead of just choosing a story from the list to write about. (Which means that I just chose a story from the list and wrote about it ;_;) Spoiler: and I don't think I did the genre part right either

Thanks for taking the time to edit the list, Sakura, guess we're almost ready to go then.

Before the big summarizing starts, I'd suggest that we try to come up with a list of genres that we want to use for classifying the fics.
Because I know that I will have a lot of trouble coming up with the right genre names, and maybe other people will as well.

Also, should we set a standard of which file-types to use when we upload the summaries in a file?
I think .rtf like Tyltalis did it is alright.

Tyltalis: It's no problem that you already summarized something, quite the contrary.
After a quick look, the summaries look good, bonus points for adding the tags for formatting the text.
Even more bonus points for taking one really long work. Good, job, recruit! o7

Only thing is, I don't think we need a 'Fantasy' genre. Because we're talking about Touhou-Fanfiction here, which is 99% Fantasy by definition.
Actually, a 'Reality' Genre might be more useful :V

I guess we'll have to wait until Sakura has the time to make clear which of the works belong on the list and which don't.

But as that may still take some time, I'll ask a question to everyone:

Which fics have you already read and can remember well?

Depending on the answers we may organize the to-do-list for everyone accordingly.
(Unless Sakura decides that we will force everyone to read something new :3 )

SenSageUn already said he has read UD's work, so I'd like to leave those in his care.
Esifex seems to have read pretty much everything, so I declare him our secret weapon in terms of fic knowledge.

Lastly: Once summaries start coming in, I'll update the big list regularly (which means several times a day probably).
I'll mark all the works that have been done in blue in lime green, because it's a nice soothing color to mark our successes :D
