> Let's see, Hakugyokurou or Ice City?
> Let's try the Ice City first. Ichirin's the only one we haven't talked to yet. She probably doesn't know anything either, but better to be sure than to still wonder.
>You decide to investigate Ice City, reasoning that it is closer. You return to the frozen lakeshore, noting that the wolf seems to be sniffing around there. He watches you pass by before returning to his business. You follow the path around the west side of the lake.
>You enter the Ice City. City, you quickly see, is something of a misnomer. But there's really no better words for it. There are dozens of icy structures here, many of them simple spires of varying heights that vaguely remind you of the towering buildings back on the moon. Here and there are simple one-room houses, most of them scaled more for faeries than for humans or youkai. Most of the actual buildings have icicle spires and other such frozen decorations among them. You spot the occasional igloo scattered about. A couple of the buildings are large enough for you to enter. There are crude icy statues here and there, as well as snow people and snow animals. Obvious exits are North, South, East, WestA, and WestB.
>There are also dozens, perhaps hundreds, of faeries here; laughing, playing, singing, chasing each other around, and creating a general bedlam. In a couple places, you can see bits of danmaku flying about, but it's nothing to worry about. A crowd of cheering faeries leads you to find Ichirin, who seems to be in the middle of a game of domino with one of their number. Judging from the hubbub, it is quite an event to them. You also note Cirno at the edge of the Ice City, examining one of the spires.
