| DarkslimeZ:
:O What is your book about, anyway? General English-learning stuff with Touhou as a background? This is pretty awesome stuff, I always love hearing stories about this kind of thing. I'm actually planning to study abroad in Japan in the summer, so if my plane ticket back isn't the day before Comiket 78 (which is probably will be), I'll definitely be going. |
| Ghaleon:
Mega-cool. I didn't know you were making a book, glad to hear it was a success. As for Parsee... I'm honestly not sure if I am or not. I mean I'd love to witness such an event and to see what they have and all that. But on the other hand, I don't know if I'd survive =\. I'm really not a crowd person, and I can't stand around for very long. Stories like this are probably the closest I'll ever get to going to Comiket though >=). |
| N-Forza:
Nietz: It is. I love it so much, although the guy who makes it says that the English translations take so long that he doesn't make too many. I've thought about helping him with that so he can make more. Darkslime: Yeah, it's modeled after the middle school English textbooks, which is when most students seriously start learning English. Ghaleon: The crowds are insane. It's practically a swarm of people and getting through the busy areas takes a lot of time and effort. |

I didn't know you were making a book... much less an English-teaching Touhou one! That's awesome! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I was in Japan for a week last summer, unfortunately not around the time for Comiket, but I definitely understand the crowd-grazing. |
| Drake:
They're talking about the book in /jp/ right now~ I do want to read it btw :( |
