This game sounds pretty... interesting. Basicly it creates aliens based on random files on your computer, but if you shoot the alien down then the file they represent is deleted forever. The site describes it better than I can, though.

Though personally I'm too worried I'll accidently end up killing a file I don't want deleted if I play it.

That... sounds like a really good way to hose your OS install unless it avoids choosing stuff from places like C:Windows and the site just doesn't mention that.

How stupid would you have to be to PLAY this game?

I'm slightly interested if it can delete itself, though.

Apparently it does when you lose. Dunno if it can do it mid-play.

Apparently someone has killed 5023 of their own files looking at the website.

I'm not sure to be amazed the computer held itself up that long, or that it even HAD that many files.

Maybe they cheated. Or they're a sadist towards files.

Well, that answers that. :V

EDIT: Re-watching the video, potentially interesting point: it looks like the sprite of the enemy depends on the filetype.

To give it credit, it's one of the few original ideas out there. :V

Baity: For a moment, I thought you broke 1.1billion. Upon looking at my score.dat, I can assume that you destroyed the score that is my failed (first!) 1cc attempt on my first day of playing. Congratulations.

I could try to trick my boyfriend into running it on his Macbook but that would be mean. =P

EDIT: OH GOD I could give it to my sister.

Oh wow. It's original ill give it that, but you would have to be drunk, mad and stupid to seriously try to clear that.

Could come in handy though  ;)

The only way to win is to lose. That way the stupid game deletes itself and you keep your files! Or you don't play it.

To lose? Or not to win?  Either way you are pretty much SOL as soon as you kill your first enemy.
We should donate to a computer to the person with the highest score...  And have them play the game again to reach an even higher score.   ;D

Wait... playing this on a school computer?  That is insane and truly brilliant at the same time.
Tell your teachers to play this before they finish grading.  ;)
