Am I the only person who likes SA Stage 1?

I got bored, so I decided to play SA Extra ("Yes it's terrible, but why not, at least there's no guesswork in how to do the stage.")  Previously, the farthest I've gotten was Danmaku Polygraph, and I had only captured D. Paranoia before.

Cleared the stage with three bombs (two planned at the end, one during Bumper Crop).
Captured Ancestors easily.
Captured D. Paranoia.
Captured Id. (it took a while for me to remember how to do Superego)
Nailed all of the nonspells.  Bombed/died whenever I got walled (Rorschach).  Dodging Genetics was easy; hitting Koishi wasn't.  I couldn't reproduce whatever I saw in Depths replays.
Ran into two small bullets in Sub. Rose.

I remember when the SA demo came out Kefit said that SA stage 1 is the best stage ZUN has made in a long time. Madman. >_>

Really, I'm calmer now, but I'll never understand how people can bash UFO yet praise SA, which actually does have multiple walling attacks, and IS a clipdeath-fest.

You have to memorize stages on UFO. That's why. Every other game in the series lets you get away with "soft" memorization, but UFO's lunatic asks you to memorize fairy entry points or DIE, memorize UFO routes or DIE, memorize when and what to chain or not get enough resources to push through Shou/Byakuren (and DIE sometimes as well), memorize memorize memorize, all things that get in the way of actually enjoying the game for most people.

SA has harder danmaku on average, and stage 1 is stupid, but at least SA doesn't kill you outright for forgetting that big fairy 32 which enters from the right at 2.2 inches below the top of the screen at 1:43 during stage 3 must be killed 0.7 seconds after it appears for a blue UFO fragment which will be red 6.3 seconds later at coordinates X:7.0/Y:4.2 where you must grab it to create a red UFO which will cancel a wall upon appearing and which then must be destroyed 5.2 seconds later to cancel all bullets on the screen or else you're completely fucked.

As one of those crazy nuts who 1ccs UFO lunatic...you don't have to memorize. >:| Not any more than usual. About the only stage I have a hard route planned for UFOs is stage 5.

I was going to point out how it shows him having 2 UFO pieces after destroying the UFO. I wish I could keep 2 Red UFOs at all times so that i could actually 1cc it on anything higher than Normal.
