I just unlocked UFO Extra and I was wondering, do any of Kogasa's cards have tricks to them. How do I know where the lasers end up, besides inhuman reflexes.

Read them when they slow down. It's her easiest card :V

The only trick I know of is to not be at the bottom of the screen on her first card because otherwise the fast bullets will screw you over.

Really? I'm always at the bottom of the screen during her first card I think it gets a lot easier.

Large Raindrops: watch out for the next wave of bullets when only the slower ones of the first wave remain. Otherwise you may get trapped by a fast one.

Typhoon: I don't know. Maybe get up half the screen if you are playing with SanaeB or MarisaB in order to make more of their spread shots hit.

Flash: When the lasers are moving slow, slightly move with them so that you are sure to stand in a gap when they halt. Makes it a little easier. Otherwise it is just a reaction test.

This for me, though I find the last 2 or so are quite difficult anyway.

Typhoon works on the same principle as Mt Ooe so just vertical dodge that card unfocused or what not

Well, they pretty said everything they had, but about the laser spellcard, I personally like to look without focusing on a gap at the side of the screen the lasers come from

The gap that you will get into can be captured by your eye if you look at the side of the screen and start slowly looking at your character when the lasers start to slow :V

I dunno if It'll work with you guys, but it worked with me xD

Kogasa's first is watching out for getting walled.

Kogasa's second is just pure skilled unfocused dodging. It's like StB all over again.

Kogasa's final is rape and I defy anyone who says otherwise. Inhuman reaction speed, indeed.

These three combined are somehow harder than most of Nue's repertoire, so once you get past the bullet spam of the second half of extra, you'll do fine.

Had 46/51 on it before I've lost my score.dat :V

On the other hand, 34/73 on the first one and 23/60 on the second.

Still, she's easier than EX Sanae.

I've got 51/65 on Wizard Fox Thoughts. Admittedly, 4 or 5 of those were no vert attempts at the stage and therefore don't count since it's not possible to capture it like that.

Looking back, Patchouli is probably the hardest EX midboss.

Also, 5 of the Royal Flare captures were cheaped with MarisA.

And I just died a few seconds from capturing ATWTBN yet again. That last part is such BS. And of course, I failed to get either of the other 2 cards I haven't captured there again.

Yes, that one. But in a no vert run you obviously can't do that and there's no way to dodge it all since there's not enough distance without being near the bottom.

I could have captured it. It's just a matter of having all the shots aimed downwards, which I messed up.

One more thing, is there any trick to Peaceful Clouds. It seems like some of the lasers are aimed, but I'm not sure.

This stage is evil. I've only gotten past Kogasa once and then didn't even make it to Nue. And if I did, she probably would have defeated me quickly.
