DONUT SONG / Tatsuro YamashitaAnd here we have... Japanese Reggae? Reggae, originating in Jamaica, was a music originally developed as a positive community drive in desperate situations - oppression, poverty and the like, hence its prominently major key, light instrumentation and drums and, presumably, optimistic lyrics that work well when sung with a crowd of like-minded people. However, someone seems to have gotten lost somewhere, and wandered across half a continent and an ocean and found themselves in Japan, where the socio-political situation hardly calls for community gatherings to get back at "the man". It thus appears that nintendonut888 is hopelessly lost in a land that needs no heroes of his caliber. His revolutionary and rebellious mindset is a powerful driving force, but he is never in the right place to use it, and so ends up looking like an inappropriate firestarter, railing against greater forces that he does not understand only to see anarchy brought to the world around him.
