Fools! The Emperor of Man has called you forth in service of His Holy Crusade, in order to bring order to the Empire of Man, and force Chaos and the Xenos back into the Warp. Pick up your sword and join your Battle Brothers in combat! No seriously, get this game, I wish to stomp faces in. I am horrifically addicted to this game. It is like the next generation of crack, except in stupid fast Korean clicky form. RTS, streamlined and honed to the single purpose of making your men beat the everloving tar out of someone else's men. No more SimCity, no more making sure x probe is on y mineral patch, just combat in it's most pure and brutal form. Games are fast, expect combat in the first 30 seconds, and never relenting until the match is over and a victor is declared. Games also do not last longer than 30 minutes, and miraculous comebacks and last second nailbiters are the norm, not the exception. You will get this game and love it. You will make friends with me on Steam. Or else rippers will invade your kitchen and mess up your pots and pans. |

Should I play the first one first? |

It's not required, and in fact DoW2 is a major departure gameplay wise from DoW1. It's closer to Company of Heroes (Relic's other major RTS) than DoW1. |

And I was planning to get one FPS out of all those other titles, guess fate selected it for me. |
