Ok. PCB Extra which I usually did with ReimuA could be worth a try with ReimuB.
1. try: Death to the waves right at the beginning, restart.
2. try: Death to some other pre-midboss stuff, restart.
3. try: Clear with two spare lives, barely failing to capture Descent of Izuna Gonge by only a sliver of health.

Well, that was faster than expected, maby I should try Phantas-

You inspired me to do a PCB extra run. To my surprise finished it on my first attempt (did clear it before tough). Increased my score by 600k (that's bassically nothing) cause I was so smart to die after Ran died (you go super slow mo after her death, and because of that + reimu's terrible focused speed I couldn't even dodge 1 ball lol)

Decided to move on. Beat IN Easy (both A and B) with Border Team. Gave Extra a shot just for kicks, made it all the way to Fujiwara "Flaw of Forgiving Shrine".

Does that mean I didn't get caved by EX-Keine?

On the subject of Story of Eastern Wind, is it like SoEW where I have to 1cc for every character to unlock Extra?

Or did they make it worse and I have to 1cc Hard, which would be a pain. I'd like to fight Ex Cirno.

1cc normal with any character to unlock Extra and the Yukkuri Extra.

Can somebody say "Perfect Stage 3" ending at the best spot ever?

EDIT: That Extend! saved me while also being so well-timed that I get a Bullet Clear Bonus.

As an aside, 'nut has the second lowest UFO Lunatic 1cc score in the world at this very moment (for the given Shot Type). The lowest belongs to yukarin (yes, the same one) which was done as a Low Score Run(?).

Didn't realize I had it unlocked for 2 of the characters.

Just tried it and got my ass kicked badly by Ex Cirno. This will be fun though.I was at 0/0 though going into her copy of Border of Wave and Particle and quickly died to it. I didn't capture anything either.

Well, you're one of the worst out there. Your scoring skills (and knowledge while we're at it) are essentially non-existent :V

Stage 4 LLS is going to be fun~
Considering that I've memorized the Stages (mid-bosses are fair strict in their timing, but not too bad), it's all a matter of how well I fare against Reimu now. And I believe we both know how bad it can get. I think I'll leave it at that for today and do something that won't bring as much BAWWWWWWW into my poor fragile heart.

YES!!

Perfect S1 and S2, one bomb on Alice (she decided to be mean with the curvy red wave), three bombs and no deaths on S4 (a record), one bomb on Yuki and Mai and a death on Mai (also records). Advice from Baity re: stalling the midboss (brilliant) led to only two bombs on S5, then two deaths and six bombs on Yumeko, with one bomb lost on the first life when I got lolkilled by the knives on her first phase. Got to Shinki 4/0, fine until I forgot to move up on the wings = instadeath. Died to cheeto lasers, then IMMEDIATELY DIE AGAIN WITH FULL BOMBS. At this point, I clear Cheeto Lasers 1/2, and I am badly frightened for those three bombs. Two bombs gets me through the next phase, Shinki's Recitation 1/0. Die quickly and use all my bombs...just in time for the CRAZYINSANEWHAT part to start...and I run 0/0 through the crazy part of Shinki's Recitation for the first time on any difficulty and cap the last phase as well.

A half-hearted attempt at 1ccing UFO with Reimu A (I've been using Reimu B until now) to get a feel for advantages and disadvantages between the characters, which ends very anti-climactically. However, I manage to pull off a ridiculously lucky dodging spree before boss Ichirin. Watch it just for that.

(The replay desyncs for me if I start from Stage 3, so start from Stage 2 and fast-forward if necessary.)

That almost inspires me to get going. UFO Stage 2-3 Hard are harder than SA Stage 2-3 Lunatic.

SA Stage 5 Lunatic = UFO Stage 5 Hard. UFO Stage 6 Hard is harder than SA Lunatic Stage 6.

I managed to solve Ichirin's opener safespot on lunatic.

Success rate for each wave is below 30% though, but practice makes perfect.

Hopefully this will help me on conquering billions in UFO.

Yes, but he/she died all the time to. In Stage 2 and 3 even. That shows that the game is indeed very generous with lives.

I know the safespot. But I have a 10% success per wave. I do recall seeing a MarisaB run where the player bombed every single wave and tried to use the spot at the same time though. Guess I should practice it some more as well.

7 Extra stages complete. Defeated Ex Alice just now. 202 point items, so if I had gotten 3 less I would have failed the stage. and this would have went into the rage thread instead.

That leaves just SoEW's extra from PC98 and well, I completely suck at it as I can only get to Evil Eye Sigma's second phase. Yukkuri stage really isn't good for practicing this either, but it allows me to get a better idea of how to deal with the later attacks once I get to them.

Not precisely an accomplishment, but... Went into MS Hard with the determination to just have fun, don't obsess over 1ccing. Made it to Yumeko's blue streaming hell phase before game overing even though I had a stupid death on stage 1. And guess what... I'M NOT RAGING! When I try to just have fun, regardless of 1cc or not, I don't suck at the game, AND I feel less upset afterward.

I just failed Shackles a Criminal Can't Remove, at long last! \o/ Also I discovered that most of the laser spam in stage 3 can be dodged just by standing still in the middle.

Still failed though. :V

BTW, here's a philisophical question: If one perfects a stage but bombs due to that weird bug in SA in the results screen, is it still a perfect?
