I just failed a MS lunatic attempt with Yuka. I made it all the way to Shinki, but poor playing in the first two stages and dying with full bombs due to a clipdeath right before Yumeko guaranteed a failed run (and I got hit by Mai. By MAI). However, I got a consolation prize and captured Devil's Recitation (I feel the PC-98 name needs something slightly different, but it's better than having no name at all), as well as only bombing once on the cheeto lasers phase. In case I didn't make that clear, I had no trouble dodging this attack with the slowest character in the game. No excuse people. :V

EDIT: ...I just beat the post Momizi spam AGAIN. That's kinda insulting considering how long it took me to do it the first time. I think it's the fact that I finally learned how to read the waves and how to effectively dodge it, showing an amazing increase in ability since that time...or it was luck. Probably luck.

And I just beat MoF extra with Reimu C because I haven't yet. And for good reason.

If you can do "PMBS" 3-4 times in an hour, then you've done what I did 1-2 months ago.

How much longer? And why did I make the mistake there, of all places?

Thanks to Donut, I randomly picked up IaMP and beat up Remilia with Patchouli in Lunatic, reliving old times. It's sort of an accomplishment since I tend to get bad at games I haven't played in a while.

I managed to pull of a Peta Flare timeout. I couldn't timeout Hells Tokamak for whatever reasons so i decided to pull this off instead. Usually i don't like playing Lunatic that much but since this isn't UFO or PC-98 things aren't too ridiculous.

Ok I can stop overreacting now but man, that felt so good. Only 2 deaths (well lost rounds actually) in 9 stages :V Only lost to sakuya (FU knives from the sides, FFFUUUU) and komaichi (BULLETHELLLOLZ)

God I love using Medicine against Lunatic AI. She's so utterly broken against computer players, it's hilarious.

Also, MS Extra, actually made it past Alice's first phase and had a nearly perfect stage run. =D

So I watched ebarrett's vids, and figured out (if it wasn't already completely obvious) that I was playing PoDD very, very badly. I then tried that Normal 1cc again and beat it with only a single loss at Yumemi.

Of course I then promptly completely failed at Hard mode, but still. Baby steps. :V

Could it be that this video may start a wave of people who can play PoDD? D: I actually kinda like having PoDD as my sole "rare" achievement...

Though I suppose I'm the only player who has beaten as many lunatics as I have.

Well I've finally beat my high score in PCB lunatic without even going for a high score. I believe I got 1.36bil but I'm too lazy to post a replay of it...

I've also got me 3 billion points in Imperishable Night for the first time ever, one again playing normally without trying to score.

Well, Medicine's EX-attacks, that is attacks that get unleashed upon the enemy through combos and the destruction of spirits, are these poison clouds that don't harm you directly but slow you down when you are in them.
The Lunatic AI usually doesn't move any more than neccessary, sitting in front of the bullet until the last frame before it would get hit. Then it dogdes the bullet with full speed and extreme precision.
Now, if the lunatic AI is inside a slowing poison cloud, this method will fail very often, leading to a (comparatively) easy victory even on lunatic. Something similar but not as drastic happens when you use Aya's high speed EX-bullets against the AI.

So, on topic:
After a few humiliating tries on UFU Extra failing hard on Kogasa and sending my history for Heian Clouds to 3/6 *cough* , I somehow improved by several degrees, not only beating Nue for the first time with MarisaB but also doing it with 2 spare lives and capturing Rainbow UFOs and Nightmare of Heiankyou for the first time.

I still fail hard on the Green UFOs without SanaeB, though. :V

Green? Just make sure that you are always on the side of the screen, not a single laser column closer to the center. Then just ignore the lasers and read the small bullets. Easiest UFO card by far :V

I admit I really wanna play PoDD, but mainly as Rikako and I'm told she's so terrible she's almost unusable...

Interestingly, this is consistant with my PoFV chara of choice (Reisen), so maybe I just have bad luck when it comes to the people I like to play as...

Got a random stage 2 no deaths in UFO hard. Also captured Parasol Memories whatever and train for the first time. ReimuA :V

Hell's Tokamak is easy just for 1 reason.....it can't wall you, period. If you die, it's because you screwed up, not because you forgot to stream it or the bullets didn't allow you to.

Strangely enough, I find PoFV Extra to be EASIER than PoFV Normal O_o; The enemy seems to dodgehax five times as long on Normal as opposed to the timer on Extra followed by the AI utterly failing to dodge...
