All I did was beat UFO extra with Reimu B. :<  Pretty intense end, because I entered Yorimasu Genzanmi with no lives due to dying twice in completely "lolwhut?" deaths on Nightmare of Heiankyou. So I beat that card with 1.00 power, with Reimu B, with only two bombs. lol Nue.

BTW, y'all should play Touhou with music turned off sometime. It's a really weird experience.

BTW, y'all should play Touhou with music turned off sometime. It's a really weird experience.

Tried it before. My timing was thrown off when I was scorerunning with music turned off. Other than that, there's no noticeable difference apart from me being completely attentive (the music makes me feel all light inside while playing... usually).

I talked with Kefit a few weeks ago. He said that he has officially burned out on Touhou and has no intention to continue playing.

Also timing out Eternal Meek would be only a few seconds longer than capturing it would be.

Somewhat unrelated, but I got a kick watching AM's (new) UFO Lunatic run [Category]. He must've been pretty furious about that error.

edit: after seeing a bunch of videos, it went from "absolutely impossible" to "hoard lives during the stages and flail around a lot during bosses". I still play almost as badly as when I continuespammed for hours on easy modo Sariel and couldn't finish it.

51 tries and I FINALLY captured Maze of Love, captured catadioptric aswell in that run so had potential to perhaps actually clearing EoSD extra stage (*cough* deaths after flandre's dead) but messed up on cranberry trap (eventough that seems to be regular) and 4 of a kind (again...). If only I had done it on the previous try I would have reached And then will there be none with 4 lives

I also have a No Focus (attempted) timeout of "Tele-Mesmerism", but it got caught at 13/14 seconds left on the timer.

I got lucky against Kikuri, very lucky. Entered 2/2, thought the attempt was doomed. Then, one death and no bombs in the first phase because the ying-yang hit like it never hit before. I just spammed amulets and tried to not get in the way while occasionally bumping it in whatever direction I could when it started to bounce too low. Entered stage 16 0/2, I think.

Also, entered the last stage 4/2 but did everything wrong at the beginning and was down to 0/3 before getting rid of half her healthbar - blasted ying-yang must've passed above Konngara a million times.

A shame I wasn't recording, but I really thought the previous run was a major fluke. You'd see the most pathetic Jigoku stage 18 ever: tried to get the ying-yang to the left side, got annoyed after a while and bombed. Still some stuff on the screen, tried some more, got hit in the head by ying-yang. Not wanting to spend another bomb I kept trying to get the damned thing over there, got hit again. Bombed again because, really.... and a couple of &#?$& thingies still stood there, I didn't even know you could bomb twice and fail to clear the screen. Had to endure some more torture before finally getting the ying-yang to the other side and beating the level.

tl;dr, I suck at HRtP despite evidence in contrary.

After way too many (read: WAY too many) tries I finally did it, adrenaline is still flowing through my body. It was such a nice attempt.
Short recap:
Reached her with 4 lives no bombs, died on cranberry trap because I always do.
Pretty much clear everything, Captured maze of love for the 4th time today!
Did okay on starbow break, captured Catadioptric. Then did clock and And then there were none with 1 life each. Then Q.E.D. went so amazing, I bombed somewhere during the 2nd or 3rd wave for safety, avoided everything, some with really cool maneuvres I didnt even know I could do, but I still died, looked at her hp which was about this much left 'l' and then I went  :V :V :V :V

Pretty satisfied with this run, even though I failed horribly on Koishi's heart non-spell.
I noticed some things while doing pacifist:
First of all you get like five heart pieces total, three from Sanae and two from Koishi's survivals.
That is three extra lives total to do this with, which I believe is the lowest amount of lives for any pacifist extra boss.
Embers of Love is completely impossible unless I'm missing something.
Subterranean Rose has no timeout fase?   
I was expecting the worst when the timer reached 30 seconds, but nothing happened.
I'm not complaining though.  :V
