I didn't slow down most of the stage portion at all, including Patchy's first SC. Flan was dropped to 30 FPS for about 90% of the time. I kept the survival at full speed just for laughs. ~~"GRT"~~ Dream / Fantasy "Gengetu"was dropped to 15 FPS after realizing that 30 FPS was still too fast.

It still kept its fun value there. Dare I say it, everything was pretty methodical and there was no spontaneous crap killing me surprisingly.

Total time playing through: ~30 minutes (I paused a lot to take breaks in between). If you exclude the pause(s), I would reckon about 23-25 minutes.

That being said, I had quite a hard time seeing bullets at 15 FPS and not at 30 FPS.

Played PoFV Lunatic with Reimu and actually managed to face Komachi before Game Over-ing. Considering that this is my first time playing and I completely disregarded any and all strategy and mechanics in this game (as in, playing blind), is it really this easy, or is my PoFV rigged somehow?

Don't tell me it's Reimu.

Reimu has a better than average chance of hitting the lunatic AI because of her ying-yangs, and her charge speed is the best of the bunch. I think it's fair game though since in exchange you get a horrible movement speed which WILL hinder you severely against Shikieiki. Reimu can get the occasional cheap shot in but it's also easy to get walled by Shiki with her.

Which brings me to the important part: Shikieiki will fuck you up. Don't be surprised if your first few times arriving at her with three or four spare lives end up game overing, and don't be fooled by the "bleep bleep last hit" alert - you'll still have to last a reasonably long time after she's almost dead. As in, if you had already been hit once, or if you get hit once just after she's down to her last half orb, don't get your hopes up.

PoFV lunatic 1cc with Reisen. Dear lord Reisen is horrible, when the screen is filled with stuff her lvl1 blows up in your face and you can't see anything.

It's because VoWG Lunatic is all I've been playing for the past week. That and some assorted HRtP Normal because I felt that I needed to be more masochistic and play something I suck at.

Hm, wait, it was at 26/27 seconds left. Meh, 3 seconds is about 1.5 waves. And my second death was still retarded.

So I finally cleared PoFV Lunatic with Cirno.

Died once to Reisen, twice to Aya (LOL AYA DURF DURF), once to Yuka, got to Shikieiki with a life in stock.

Died, died, continued, died, died, died, continued, died, died, died, continued, victory.

Still, Cirno was the my first 1cc on Normal and she's the first one I've even gotten to Shikieiki with in the first place. Clearly, she is the Strongest!

(I probably should 1cc Hard first...)
