Rawr MoF Normal 1cc! Two down! It's by no means a good 1cc, especially since I screwed up on Sanae several times that could have definitely been avoided. The last spell came down to the wire though, and I almost failed because I crashed into one amulet, but death bomb ftw ^_^

Yes you can. You probably just haven't spent 100+ attempts at the easy version.

EDIT: Also, is it just me or is VoWG Hard a little more dense than VoWG Lunatic with the luna one compensating with much higher speed? It seemed that way last time i tried the card at Hard.

The reason this is an accomplishment is that in doing this I still managed no-focus captures of every Patchy card and every Flan card minus Four of a Kind, Kagome Kagome, ATWTBN and Q.E.D. :V Here's a replay.

Double post because it's completely unrelated: I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of the versus danmaku games. PoFV Hard 1cc'd on my first attempt, using Reimu. Lost once to Sakuya, Komachi and Shiki (surprise surprise), and finished with a life spare. Kind of odd, actually... the final match only lasted just over two minutes. Well, whatever. :V

This, basically. Died once to each of stages 6-8, died four times to Shiki before beating her. Still... I think I can probably do this. Time to try with Marisa.

VoWG Hard gets more dense a good bit into the spellcard. Using a high-power shot type, its easily possible to end it before it even gets hard. The lunatic version seems BS the entire time, PLUS its faster.

...this is with getting to Yumeko before continuing once.

At least I made it above the wings this time. Also, I think I died once - once - on THREE CONTINUES - with no bombs left. And I think only once, maybe twice with one bomb.

Yeah. Almost every death was two or three bombs. MS does NOT like me. But we'll try to work through that.

And I captured Shinki's final phase, though it's really quite easy, so not much of an accomplishment there...

So, I just 1cc'd MoF Normal again after having not played it (or Touhou in general) for a while. Didn't game over ONCE in all those attempts. There wasn't ONE place where I actually saw what killed me and didn't find the death facepalmworthy, and I reached Virtue of Wall God (I refuse to think of it as anything else) on my last life, two power left. I cannot believe I actually beat that card without dying... I've definitely improved at Touhou over time.

Thats because she isn't Sakuya-fast like Mima, or StB-Aya-slow like Yuka. Which is why I like using Marisa.

And homing shots are nice too, I guess~

I consider that fact that, after an hour of practice, I almost 100% cap all of Kogasa's spellcards on UFO Hard (SCREW YOU, TRAIN OF AWESOME, thats more like 33%), an accomplishment. Now to do Ichirin, on whom I can't do crap consistently

So, I just captured Repository of Hirokawa on Easy~ That means that ALL PCB EASY CARDS CAPTURED!!!!

What makes it even better, I also captured Sumizome Perfect Blossom again so that now the game will actually SHOW that I've captured all the cards~

EoSD Lunatic Full Run Status:

Stages 1-3 cleared with no deaths. This replay is getting saved no matter what, so you can see me twitch dance like a scorerunner. Well, onto Stage 4~

EDIT: Stage 4 went meh. Stage 5 I did stupid things. This... isn't looking too great.

EDIT 2: Entering Stage 6 at 3/2. I'm scared about "Eternal Meek".

Will I make it? Or will I crumble like I do every time in Stage Practice? Find out!

Speaking of which, I finally captured Border of Life and Death without abusing the safespot. I still ended up in it on the last phase, but it was purely accidental and I did more than my fair share of dodging to get that far.

Near the end of my first round against Shikieki, I had a sudden realisation... after charging a level 2, isn't it a better idea to wait with it until it becomes useful rather than just using it straight away?

Lunatic version does do a lot of nasty stuff. One thing in particular i hate is when it gives you basically no option but to move through the waves of amulets. It happens quite a lot in this video i just put up.

Ichirin isn't really that hard on hard. I can 1 bomb her consistently- (stupid first spellcard that shakes the screen) all her spells simply rely on knowing what to do. Lunatic seems to be a different story....

Considering that I haven't captured the second to last card yet and I have like 4/15 on the others.....Ichirin is really much harder than Murasa.

If only Shou wasn't so clippy to the extent that every single attack requires a bomb....

IT WORKS! AH HA HA HA!

Thanks to some help in the rage thread, I can finally record PC-98 on Anex86, no slowdown!

I did a test recording for LLS extra and it works perfectly (other than the out of synch sounds caused by Anex86 and not the recording itself), and doesn't even split videos randomly like Fraps does. Even though I managed to activate and survive Gengetu Rape Time, I'm not uploading it; I may as well do a good run after all.
