Game crashes when saving PoFV replays

Hello,

Just last night I noticed something weird going on while playing PoFV - every time I tried to save a replay, the game simply crashed. One moment I was scrolling down the replay list and the next I was back on my desktop.

This has happened to me every once in a while when I've been running the english patch but never with the original Japanese release, which also fails constantly now. I saw that it was a recognized bug over on Touhou Wikia but I couldn't really get the directions straight.

Is there any solution to this issue?

I apologize for this double post but I found a makeshift solution on my own yesterday. It seems that it'll start working again if you simply re-install the game - or as in my case, re-import it from an external harddrive. So I extracted any valuable replays from my old folder and put them into the newly imported one and that one works like it should so far.

Good thing that the copy on the external drive has everything unlocked already, heheh.
