So, I've not yet captured Subterranean Sun yet. The thing is...I ALWAYS down Okuu on this run no bombs, no lives lost, but at the end with the slowdown I get on the game when Okuu is exploding, I somehow always manage to maneuver into one of the shots. I can do fine when normally playing the card, its just while she is exploding and the slowdown pops up that fail happens.

One real-life one.

One of the booths in the dealers' room at Otakon had Mountain of Faith available to play. There was respectable crowd that had gathered, watching other people play. When I asked to have a turn, I did okay until I got to Aya. I died with a second left in her time-out spell card in the only instance I can think of that I played a game with an audience.

A similar thing has happened to me many times in UFO.

Never, ever, finish Nue's survival card in the top middle~upper right corner. ;-;

As I get the "YOU ARE SUPER PLAYER!" screen in DS, I suddenly realize there's a leg coming out of Aya's upper knee. I always thought it looked completely abnormal because it's just a flesh blob that doesn't go anywhere and I only just realized there's actually the rest of the leg there in the picture, after full clearing the game

DS, Nue's "Red Mantle, Blue Mantle" (yes I know the wiki says cloak, I like mantle better). I don't die from the fast moving bullets. No. I die from the slow moving knife wave as I move in.

Went to play PCB, clipped everything that could possibly have been clipped, used 9 bombs during the entire run, died five times to various incarnations of Youmu and game over'd via dying to Repository of Hirokawa twice. Jeeeesus Christ. =_=

Everytime I play the game.

Last ones that I remember...well, trying to make Youmu`s first cross danmaku shoot backwards works 90% of the time for me...10% of the time I end up like this:

Needless to say, cue autobomb. Also, in IN I tend to fail on Reisen`s Visionary Tuning..."no worries, she`s gonna change the pattern any second, no need to bom- *death, last word bomb missed*...FFFFUUUUUUU..."

Of course, I feel like irredeemable noob every single time I miss the last word bomb window in IN.
But my most failtastic error was in EoSD Stage 2 Normal miniboss. Died on her kunai waves while trying to get close to her to kill her before the time limit for no actual reason. Cue headdesk. THIS. SHOULD. NEVER. HAPPEN. EVER!

I've tried getting Youmu to aim backwards in Stage 6 once. It was enough to convince me to never do it again. It's a viable strategy in Stage 5, but I think ZUN realized this and decided to trick you in Stage 6 so it really screws you up if you try it there. I find it a lot easier to try to tackle it directly than to try to misdirect it.

Trying to redirect Youmu is impossible for me. I don't know how you guys do it.

I don't know if I should even bother attempting it again since I usually lose no lives during those waves.

It gets easier to do when you go up in difficulty. It's easiest on lunatic.
This is because Youmu's rate of fire stays the same, but the bullets go faster away, giving you more time to misdirect the next wave.
It's still doable but risky on hard, I don't really recommend doing it on normal and easy except for the first wave.

Which Stage is the Orin Tackle most likly to happen in? I'm still trying to rip Stage 1 Hard and trying to survive Stage 2 Hard long enough to get past Parsee Midboss Card which, due to the lack of an English patch, I have dubbed "Moon Rune Sign -Chaser Moon Runes-" until I know it's real name.

- The "Orin Tackle" would be Stage 5, right after her midboss spellcard (commonly called the "Catwalk"). Basically what happens is after the attack ends, people rush up to the POC to collect the items, but end up getting smashed by Orin as they head back down (this usually only happens when she starts in the center).
- Yeah, Parsee's midboss spellcard is called "Envy 'Green-Eyed Invisible Monster'". That's just me being nitpicky. :V
- I'm guessing Kisume's landing on you as you head to the POC? I would suggest streaming the fairies down from the POC if you're that concerned about collecting items (specifically Power items, which is understandable).

Actually Funen, I get bucket killed near the bottom of the screen, early into her Midboss Non-spell, since she "falls" to the lower portion of the screen. Oh and the rock kill was on the first large rock in Stage 1 >.<

Stay at the very bottom. Everything of hers can be dodged there, so no need to go up at all.
